"The Outing" is the 57th episode of the sitcom Seinfeld. It is the 16th episode of the fourth season, and first aired on February 11, 1993. The line "⊠not that there's anything wrong with that"-as a reference to homosexuality-has become a popular catchphrase among fans.
Creators Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld were reportedly concerned about offending the gay community with this episode. Their concerns were unfounded as "The Outing" won a GLAAD Media Award (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).

is this an "official" Jerry Channel? just asking if your cutting/editting it just for merch and legally making money? if so im down to buy your merchandise!
@@kimmyp3407 Hi David thanks for asking. I'm just a fan. You could consider this channel as a tribute to Jerry Seinfeld and his contemporaries. As a comedy/Seinfeld fan, I started making a channel on CZcams that I would really enjoy following myself. I love making these videos, and all the likes, views, and positive reactions are awesome.
This extremely fun after-work-hobby is also time-consuming. I obviously do not own the content in any of the videos. Netflix and others allow me to produce and publish these compilations on CZcams. In exchange, they get all the ad revenue off the videos. I want to keep cranking videos out and improve the channel. In order to do so, I created the merch-for-the-rest-of-us store.
short version: it's not "official" in that sense. But definitely legal and in line with CZcams policy guidelines.
Thanks for the feedback!
@@ChannelJERRY you really learned hard into the legal part of what I said in reality I see someone taking a 100$ worth of content they probably own and using let's say free software anyone can use to edit someone else's work but you have an icon of his face pretty close to his (minus 10%) "channel jerry" which could be a comedian trying to get a "hip" new name for an account seems plausible to believe as Well as the fact you never show your face and it's exclusively just edited clips videos of someone else's likeness (which I think are done incredibly well I'm an instant fan of your technique)
â@@kimmyp3407 I understand what you're saying. The name of the channel made the most sense to me, as does the icon. It's also a good way to get noticed on CZcams by other Seinfeld fans đ I never wanted to pretend to be Jerry Seinfeld or this to be an official channel. I now clarified this in the 'about' section thanks to your feedback.
I know it's not rocket science. I just enjoy creating these compilations from different episodes of CICGC and other Seinfeld stuff, and honestly think this is the best one so far.
Thanks again David

@Sagess Aries k
@Sagess Aries Sir, this is an Arby's.
Sagess Aries That can be said about anything at all. The thing is they were ridiculed and put down and discriminated against for so so so long that now they can be open with there sexuality they will be. Theres plenty of women whos whole personality is based on there bodies and trying to get some dick and lots of dudes whos whole thing is getting pussy and they get half the flack lgbtq people do. Im with you on what you said but honestly alot of people are just uncomfortable with it and want an excuse to hate. It has less to do with PC people and more to do with you being uncomfortable from what I can tell from that comment.
@Sagess Aries let's reframe your statement: is a straight couple sharing a kiss over dinner "flaunting their sexuality" or "advertising" it? no. and since straight and gay relationships are both fundamentally the same thing, thinking otherwise would be a double standard.
â@Sagess Aries you're somehow drawing an equivalency between consent within the context of trans relationships and accepting gay couples as fundamentally equal to any other couple, which is a ludicrous comparison. those are not remotely the same thing, nobody is asking you to date a trans person. in your mind, is being forced to date a trans person the same thing as treating gay couples equally? that's extremely far-removed from reality, and i urge you to leave the house if that is the case. the "advertising" you're referring to seems to just be representation of gay relationships in media. what political agenda is gay representation pushing? what "disagreement and debate" is there to be had within the context of gay relationships, that you think is being stifled by so-called "PC culture"? there's no "double standard" in treating gay couples equally, in fact, doing anything else would be exactly that. plus, if i found this topic "unacceptable to discuss", do you really think we'd be having this conversation in the first place? your arguments don't hold up to scrutiny.
