    My 2010 is a manual and it dosent have a dipstick and I also cannot find the location of the fill plug to refill what came out when I removed the axle. Was that gear oil or transmission oil does anybody know

    Which oil was draining from removing the axle? Is it engine oil or transmission oil? So you will need to add it again right?

      It is transmission fluid.
      And yes you gonna have to add it again.
      The easiest way that worked for me was removing the two nuts that holds the struts.

    it may be a dumb question but what is the need of cv joint on a sentra? there is no power transmission on the front axle why not just let it roll?
