- In today's episode of Lambvinskis Garage, we run 120 miles down into Oregon to pick up this gem of a 1962 Dodge D200 with a 318 Poly and 3 speed! The old girl has been off the road since at least 2013. We also got treated with one of the coolest cars we've found on one of these adventures! A 1937 Pontiac!! What an awsome find with not much rust and the engine runs!
Most definitely! One of the most solid trucks I've seen come from the area! The engine runs surprisingly well for a crappy Chinese carb and from being froze up too!
Hopefully those silly Yankees don't mess that classic dodge up. Here in Sweet home Alabama that truck would bring stupid money!

I used to have a '63 Dodge 330, it had also a 318 poly, three-on-the-tree combo. What a beautiful machine!!! I frequently got regretful feelings having to part with it due to personal financial struggles.
It happens, but at least you can say you had it and still have the memories of it!
@@LambvinskisGarage That's true, fond memories, I know I will eventually put my hands on another V8 powered ride, vintage V8's are sweet, easy to work on and very dependable!!! WOW! Would i Ever Love to have this Set up, and Vintage of a Dodge Truck. My Favorite body style, Even though i was about one year old when this was a Brand New pickup truck! And My late Brother Mickey had just been born, Maybe Not even yet! 6/26/22 11.15 am cst USA..
Unusual to have a 3 speed on a D200 I believe, I used to have about a dozen of these old dodges about 25 yrs ago, got rid of them so the county wouldn't come down on me. Most were scrapped.
I thought it was weird myself, but we also just got a 64 D100, with a factory flat bed and a 3 on the tree.

My Grandfather had a 41 Pontiac Coupe
We got a new one on the ranch way back when. Wasn't fast but it rode like a tractor, hard.
They're definitely made for work and not comfort haha.

No thermostat, but we did just get another truck that has a good bumper for it!

Hi, i noticed that the starter did not sound like the same sound as the Chrysler High- Torque type . Did some of the Chrysler products back then still use a more conventional starter ? I know up untill the very early 60's Chrysler vehicles did yet have the starter that became ubiquitous later on.
This still has the ole gear drive starter all the old mopars have, they do sound a little different on these than they do on a 440 or something though.

@@LambvinskisGarage HA! I live just south of Chehalis! I had a 64 D100 sitting in my yard for a few years, and my sister has a '72 D100 stepside and a 77/78 Chevrolet Scottsdale sitting in her yard.

Well to me it looks my old lady after I have a 12pk of beer she takes her drawers it ain't all that bad. The beer helps some to look at it..

In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!!!!!!
