Why get rid of the clamshell doors on the xtracab/prerunner? That totally kills it for me.. This was the model I was most looking forward to and we couldn't even get atleast one rear door to access the rear storage?

it better not be 60k usd, that's way too much for a truck. In canada the TRD pro is 65k + taxes, 73k all in and they can't give them away right now.
Good go to your representatives and let them know you want dealers gone. They are a plague to people who want to have a good experience buying a vehicle.
I'm sure there's a lot of upgrades. But I keep hearing that it's only a 4 cylinder that'll cost upwards of 50k plus. This can't be the new normal. Waiting to see what the 4Runner will bring now.

No stock of anything new here in Ontario. Test drove the new Tundra and they told me like 8-9 months wait time.
Bring this down south to NZ, Ozzy and South Africa to replace the aging Hilux. Just needs the land cruiser V6 diesel. The petrols wont sell down here

Love everything but the lack of the near miraculously reliable 6 cylinder engine. There's simply no way adding all the complexity of a turbo to a smaller engine that has to spin faster and run hotter to make power is going to be nearly as reliable.
I need my mid-sided trucks to tow mid-sized loads and a hot rodded 4 banger is way not the way to go. I'll be keeping my 2022 TRD Off Road for a looong time to come.

sadly all brands are going this route.. Look at the last accord.. The v6 is gone. its basically a high trim civic now. .Even the gr corolla is a 1.6. All Probably to keep costs down and to meet regulations

All the Mall crawlers will fill the parking lot with these. What ever happened to building up your own rig to personalize your own off road vehicle. Not a fan of cookie cutter vehicles. But I guess there is a market for this. 🤷🏻
Lol enthusiastic customers are few of them which carmakers mass produce for them but its the pseudo buyers who purchased them for flexing stuffs
Like there aren’t any aftermarket parts for these vehicles still and enthousiast who modify themselves. Manufacturers just want to tap in to that market. And you get the OEM quality which comes with it so I don’t see the problem here.
you can buy the lowest trim and customize it... Anyway im awful at mechanic and Oem > Aftermarket.. . So is up to you..

In terms of design the big 4 wheel drive 2024 Toyota Tacoma is a great Example, when you see this Van from Front View you should see the New Toyota Tacoma 4 wheel drive Van in terms of Design. In terms power This Van Must Have 4 wheel drive Tacoma engine, and the high Roof is must, passengers should be able to walk in the Van without bending their body or their head, it must have a very big interior space. in terms of interior space the new 2023 Ram Promaster Vans are a great example . To much gadgets in your Tacoma trail. I have the tacoma built for overland. One more year you will pass by what your off-road buyers want. The look is what makes you get out of the wood in the worst conditions but the real additions that make the difference on the field. I bought the tacoma for the quality of this design not for the look. Good chance for 2024
Yeah! Go drive some graded roads in Utah really fast to make it look like you're going off-road! It's a cool truck, but the use of places to create the image is revolting. Utah's roads are being graded to make way for poser tourists, and the entire place is being overrun and regulated because of it. Do better, Toyota ...
They got rid of the V6 and replaced it with some crapy turbo I4 hybrid. Ooooof course they did. Oh but they need to “sAVe tHe pLAnEt”
Ugh... looks like I'll be looking at a used truck. I waited so long for this announcement only to be disappointed. You can't get a decent off road model with the access cab? Seriously? A 4 door with a shortbed is hardly a truck, it's basically a passenger vehicle.

@@richardvalitalo3670 I called 3 dealers this week and NONE of them had 2023 access cabs and said 1. they can only sell what Toyota gives them (no custom orders) and 2. they won't try to locate one for a trade. The "take my money!" meme is real and Toyota is like "nah, have you checked out our competition?" So that's what I'm doing next week - looking at the Nissan Frontier and the Ford Ranger.

Gross, it got all bulky. One of the main reasons I liked the tacoma was because it had a fit look to it. Now it just looks like every other truck in the market. Hate that they will never stop trying to upsell the US market.
