No drug could ever compare to the way the Grateful Dead makes me feel.

Wow, one of my faves too!!! Donna sounds great. That's what really blew me away when I got this tape. They really are killing it. Miami cocaine maybe?

Wow that's awesome. I saw some pics of what the arena looked like. Seems unusual for a concert but it looks like most of the seats are fairly close to the stage. You have no idea how long it took me to find out what show this recording was from. I got it from my dad like 13 years ago but he had no idea.

Things only gonna get worse brother, this is coming from a 27 year old. Love who and what you got now, because to the powers that be we are just pawns on a chess board. They won't hesitate wiping us and our way of life out, and think nothing of the effect it will have on us

@@marttram2183 Wow I didn't worry about any of that at your age! I agree, though, and if I were your age now, I'd be thinking that, too. ✌🏻🙏🏻

I think this recording is from a tape that was slightly sped up. This song was always played by The Grateful Dead in the key of A. This recording is in B flat.

@@zxqj26Oh, and yes, it's a faster tempo, but I just listened to it compared with a couple other versions, and it seems to be in the same key to me. Are you sure that Donna in the chorus isn't throwing you off?

@@cuppabeetea7301 Play along to the song in A on a non-transposing instrument in standard tuning (i.e., a guitar or piano), and you'll hear the difference. This recording is in Bb.

I heard a Phil & Friends version of this song from like '97 that blew away any GD version I'd heard, I was shocked -- and wish I knew where that cassette was...
