I picked the DoK for my army because I've always been fascinated with Greek mythology and ngl, I took one look at Morathi's snake form and I was sold. My husband is very annoyed because, with just a few strategic purchases, his Stormcast Eternals have yet to come close to beating my Daughters! Dumb luck and a love of Greek mythology from my days living in Korinthos nabbed me one of the most OP units in the all of AoS!
Once again, this is the best AoS series on CZcams. Also, super ASMR-friendly, insightful, humorous (but not in a pompous/dickish way like at least one popular AoS content creator that comes to mind), and always positive when due.

Doomfires aren't exactly worth forgetting just because they feel out of place. Running a single reinforced unit *does* give you a 20 wound, fast paced, table-clogging spell slinger. Need to control an endless spell far upfield? They're your guys. They also have almost equal melee and ranged prowess (not high but not forgettable) so if you really need to finish off a unit when a squishy battle line unit dies before finishing it off, they can do more than *just* sling those spells. They aren't even terribly priced for a cavalry caster unit... if they could bring a spell lore of your choice they'd probably be busted.
That's the crazy thing about DoK. Doomfire warlocks by any metric are actually Good, and in any other army they'd be played. I guess the water level in dok is just high enough that I never see them on the table.

As always an amusing, yet concise analysis of the army; thank you so much for making these videos :) I'd hoped for another narrative intro in the propaganda segment, as you'd done previously for the Mawtribes video, but I'm guessing you decided not to include it this time round in favour of the short summary of the Broken Realms instead (?)

Well, even if they're discontinued for the Faction Focus, that mixed reaction does nonetheless prove the existence of a positive, receptive segment of your audience for the narrative stories, so if you ever feel like writing further narratives for separate videos then I'm certain you'll find many amongst your subscribers who would greatly support that. Honestly, I thought your Mawtribes narrative was very authentic to the source material, yet without becoming stale as a result; it revealed a fascinating side to the Mawtribes' society as creatures with a complex logic informing their (literal) consumer culture, and it actually helped to fill in the gap (for me at least) of why, when Glutos Orscollion is a thing, the ever-hungry Ogres aren't all enthralled to Slaanesh themselves; it's not gluttony on the Ogres' part so much as a hunger that is both necessitated by, and necessitates, the survival of nothing less than the strongest, whereas Glutos is now ever-hungry *because* he was weak (at least, that's my understanding of it.) But, yeah: no worries, and many thanks again for making such great quality content
Very cool videos, really helpful I would like to have a few sentences to the start collecting boxes if available, quickly talk about the units contain and if it's a good starting point for newcomers, I think that would be a nice thing to have Anyway keep it up, I'm eager to see your take on all the other interesting factions
Good guide. We need more of these and maybe some updates to existing videos. I really seem to struggle to find a place that fleshes out the playstyles of an army in a brief explanation.

Case in point the Daughters of Khaine they're a very brutal, very sadistic anti-heroine Dark Aelf faction who on more then one occasion have stepped into the role of anti-villains
Honestly I’m torn between DoK, Kharadron, fyrelayers, and seraphon for my favorite order armies. But if I had to chose I think I’d give it to DoK simply because their models are better, plus snakes are cool.
I just started a DoK army (maybe they should be DoM now after Morathis ascension... DoooooM) But all I want is snakes and harpies and avatars for Christmas, so I probably won’t win a lot but it looks fun! :)

This is probably a dumb question but do models who have both melee and shooting on both their warscrolls attack in both phases, or is it just one of the weapons that the model is equipped with.
They attack with whatever relevant weapons they have during any given phase. Just check the first paragraph to see which ones they get - sometimes it's not every one in the chart.
So attempting to make a Doa list, and somehow get some Dark Elves in there to really hammer home the old total war feel. But when I add in the Dark Elves in the war scroll builder it says there not allies? Can't I just have two separate forces then combine them together?

Generally you want Har Kuron, a City of Sigmar that can only take Dark Elves and have a fourth of their units be Daughters of Khaine.
