  • Money. Fame. Power. Criminal lawyers have it all! Lawyers with good expertise and reputation in criminal litigation can charge anything between INR 50K to 5L for a simple bail matter!
Also, there is a large scope of landing a Govt. job in this niche which pays very handsomely and has great perks as Govt. hires thousands of lawyers as prosecutors. In fact, the government is the biggest employer of criminal lawyers.
Amish Aggarwala is an Advocate practising at the Supreme Court of India.

It was wonderful your experience, it encouraged me and I confirmed that I m on right track. I joined one senior, who was reluctant to teach, before I passed LL B course, after passing LLB, he told me to leave his office. Then I determined not joined any senior. Then I started to go court every day, within month I learned argument, and did argument before judgement. I request all junior go in court and sit and learned court proceedings.

It's always very good to hear sir but there is one question that what are the sources a lower middle class district lawyer can refer to enhance the knowledge on a particular subject let say on pension laws or electricity laws if the case comes so? I ask this question because all sources are paid one for which I have to take subscription, native library of a rural district court is of no use, books and journals are so expensive so we are left with very little options in our hand like vakil no 1 and sites like that.

This is the reality of legal profession today. The seniors do not want juniors to grow and flourish themselves. Young lawyers are made to do petty work at peanuts for years just to find out how much time they wasted learning nothing.
