- Something I think almost anyone that likes to cook would love to have... an electric pellet grill that produces an excellent hickory smoked chicken that is done in about 1 hour and 25 minutes...(something I think I forgot to mention in the video). The chicken was very good and really easy and pretty much all you have to do is... plug it in... turn it on... set the temp and start the machine... hard to beat the simple and straight forward operation of a device that does this good of a job!!! thank y'all for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the video!

I wish I could share photos on here, the chicken turned out fantastic thank you for the upload most helpful.
Great to hear...thanks for sharing your results!!!
"I'd rather it be a little over done than underdone" A motto I live by, and great cook! I just ordered my first pellet grill and watching all your videos!
I always love to see you review and demo new products. I think I NEED this in my life. I was actually researching electric pellet grills and this may be the one for me. I also like this ‘suitcase’ look and that you can pack it up and bring it with you. Thanks for sharing 🍃❤️🍃
It is a neat device mzbrazell...I think it's going to get a lot of use around here... and being portable is really nice... it is a little heavy though... thanks for watching and I hope you get one!!!
Thank you, jelly 007. I love what you do, and I live vicariously, thru you. Keep going - you bring joy to my life.😋
Good to hear... thank you for watching!!!
Thanks John for your videos on Traeger Ranger. I purchased one after seeing your videos and I hickory smoked the best chicken breasts I've ever cooked and plan on doing a pork butt as well for a neighborhood get together. I first found your videos when looking for cooking ideas for my Ninja FOODI XL Pro Oven Air Fryer Oven. Thanks for your hard work. Look forward to more of your Traeger Ranger videos.
Love it, John. Would love to see more with this toy and the Q as well. Don’t get me wrong, love the IP and air fry videos as well. The crab cake and tater tots was great as well!
Love to hear that Fernando...I plan to get out some videos along the way with this to kinda break up some of the type cooks I do... hoping my subscribers enjoy it and maybe see some other stuff that they might be interested in...thanks for watching!!!
Another great review.... Keep them coming 👌😁
Thank you Lee... glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching!!!
These small grills are something I'm considering for my 2 person family. Nice to see this one in action👍
I was really impressed!!! Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!!!

So far it's been pretty fun...thanks for watching!!!
The chicken looks great. Would definitely like to see more videos with this Traeger!
Thanks Philip...I plan to do a few more...thanks for watching!!!
Great video! I am going to get a ranger. It looks like a great weeknight grill. Thanks!
I have really enjoyed it so far...thanks for watching!!!
Nice review. It looks like this is a very easy piece of kit to use.
I was really impressed with ease of use and the chicken!!! Thank you for watching Dean!!!
That looks yummy 😍❤️
Thanks for video. Hope you will do a video on cleaning it after you use. It looks awesome.
I might look into that...thanks and thanks for watching!!!
Looks good 🤤
Thank you Tiffany...and thanks for watching!!!
Oh yes, your chicken lookedGOOD🍃❤️🍃
Thank you mzbrazell!!! And Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks for the video. I own a Traeger 575 pro and just bought a Traeger Ranger to take camping and to the beach. I’m looking forward to use the inverter to power the Ranger.
It works really well with it...thanks for watching!!!
good video John
Thank you Betty... glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!!!
Hey John . . This is very cool and love the fact it’s portable. I know that Presto made an indoor counter-top smoker but it’s been recalled. I live in the great, very cold 🥶, and snowy ❄️ North 🇨🇦 and smoking food outside when it’s -20*F is not an option. I wish another company would make an indoor counter-top one. I keep waiting for you to get the new Blackstone E-Series indoor Electric griddle to do some exploring one for us.
It looks amazing and I keep waiting for it to come back in stock in the USA so I can have one shipped to Canada, it’s not available up here.
As always, thanks for another #Yummy #Jelly007 recipe video and I’m sure I’ll see you in the next one. Until then, stay safe and happy cooking 🍗.

Hi John, now I’m going to have to pull out a chicken and throw it on my TRAEGER. That was an awesome looking bird. 😎👍👍
Thank you hunchovb!!! It did a really good job!!! Thank you for watching!!!
AWESOME
My truck has a power outlet in the bed. This would make camping so much more flavorful!
Hi John! I love watching your videos - I always stop what I’m doing when I see you’ve posted one. Curious - have you ever tried one of those pellet tubes on a gas grill? I have a medium Green Egg but it’s such a hassle to light and get the temps right, so I’ve been leaning more towards the gas grill. Please keep posting- your videos are SO informative!
Hi Connie and glad to hear that you enjoy my videos...I have not tried one of the tubes you are talking about...I honestly had never heard of them... but it could be a good idea...I haven't used a gas grill in awhile so I might not be the best person to ask but I will look into those...thanks for watching !!
John you might want to try Half Hickory and Half Applewood Pellets on your Chicken and Pork Cooks. I think it's a fantastic mix and would like to know if you think so too on your next cook on the Pellet Smoker cooking either one. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the outcome of the cook on those. For your first cook on a pellet smoker I thought it was really good!
I might look into some blended pellets before long...I went to Costco yesterday and they had a blend but I decided to stick to Hickory a little longer because I have cooked on that a lot and it something I can compare with better... but I definitely plan to use something with Applewood before long... thanks and thanks for watching Layton!!!
Awesome video! What p setting are you on??
omg I went to Cookin school yrs ago and you cut chicken breasts beautifully , good video thank you
Damn it Jelly u must be a mind reader.
I just got my Oklahoma Joe pellet grill. Lol
I looked at those and I like Oklahoma Joe's grills...I decided to start small...lol...thanks for watching!!!
Great for RV owners
Yes...I think it would be excellent for camping...thanks for watching!!!
going to have to check to see if this would be allowed on my deck of my condo
Curious to know what you find out...and thanks for watching!!!
At times it will produce a significant amount of smoke.
Great video. Thinking of getting this. Where did you get that knife?
I use Shun knives and I do love them... first set of real innocent I have ever owned...thanks for watching!!!
How long did it take?
How would you compare this to the big foodie grill?
Not very alike...I mean it will do some of the same things but it is quite a different result with the smoke and all...thanks for watching!!!
Let em rest hoss!
How long do you think it would take to do a brisket?
I'm not sure but I hope to know before long!!! Thanks for watching!!!
You could have purchased a lot of lump for $500. Curious how it was simpler than the egg?
Don't get me wrong I still love the egg but all you do with this is turn it on and set the temp...I guess that is why I thought it was easier...I mean no lighting and getting temp regulated... but I'll still be using the Big Green Egg...a lot...thanks for watching!!!
Why do you have your tv exposed like that? Just curious.
It is a rather inexpensive one to begin with but it is under a shelter and I take it down and bring it in during really cold or bad weather... works really good for days we are gathering outside though...thanks for watching!!!
Love the video, you should invest in a good cutting board.... cutting on glass is bad for you knife and also its dangerous. I wouldn't want to see you cut yourself. Keep up the great videos!
Where did u get it from ? I would luv to c ribs on there
he bought it at ACE Hardware
I think it is only available from ace hardware and that is where I got it from... and I love ribs and will be doing them for sure...thanks for watching!!!
What about the table where did come from
I actually made it to fit my griddle... here is a link...czcams.com/video/Wc-55ttj8FI/video.html
Got one today and seasoned it today will use
Great video but man that grill is about $200 over priced. You can get a full sized pellet grill for $399.
It is a little pricey for the size but I hope to get a lot of use out of it...thanks for watching!!!
Nice rig but it’s just to small for me and too expensive.
I plan to use this one for a while and maybe upgrade to something a little bigger one day...thanks for watching!!!
I have a couple of RECTEC pellets grills and love them.
Hey John, nice looking smoker, but I don't think it's worth $800.00.
It was actually only 500. And the grill itself was only 400.. but it is a little pricey... may not be for everyone...thanks for watching Lew!!!
It looks awfully small for that price. You can get a full size pellet smoker for that price, but a different brand. Just my opinion 🤷
I did consider a larger one but hoping to use this one to see if it's something I would use enough to dedicate some back porch real estate to...lol...thanks for watching!!!
@@JohnSanders Yeah, I get your point. I really enjoy your reviews, and the time that goes into making the videos to keep us informed 👍I don't purchase anything until I get the the reviews from the Jelly Man🤣
That is REALLY good to hear Don...and thanks for your trust!!!
Ya know John. I don't own a treager smoker. I have a pitboss smoker/grill combo and it works great but this is ideal for small to medium portable smoking applications. I definitely gonna consider on of these.
I think it has some really good potential...thanks for watching!!!
you can eat chicken at 150 lol
