I thought the same. Who's out ther hunting chicken 🤣 Just because your family hunts venison, doesn't mean you can cook chicken lmao

@@malvanra99 imagine that she’s being serious and her family buys chickens just to hunt them 😭

That's the first time I've hearing someone say that, this season has always been iconic for both the good and the bad. Honestly thanks to how short and small the overall series is there really isn't even a forgettable season like the other Masterchefs.

41:02 chef alvin says it is perfectly cooked. Does it only look raw to me? I feel like i see blood in a frame of 41:03.

Actually, that's a sign of a slaughtered and frozen young chicken. It's from the bones. It's not unsafe, it's just not appetizing looking. The actual meat itself was really well cooked though, you can tell by the sheen that it was cooked until it was done, and not dry.
One guy even cooked a chicken leg until it was BLACKENED, a damn 240+ Degrees internal temp. Still had red near the bones. It's the "hemo" part of the "Hemoglobin", the stuff that makes blood look red (Iron! :D), but it's also stored in the meat itself and the bones. It's absolutely not blood, as blood wouldn't even remain that red for longer than an hour after death.
What DOES happen though, is the chicken gets slaughtered, washed like crazy, then thrown into a blast freezer which can sometimes freeze some of that coloration onto the meat. It's still perfectly fine to eat though, as long as the meat thermometer says 165~170F, you're completely safe even if you want to eat the red bits. It's not raw, just "colored" in a way that looks unappealing.
