- For many people, the term Druid will conjure up images of an old men with long white beards wearing white robes, cutting mistletoe with golden sickles and, casting mysterious magical spells. But modern Druidry is far from that, - it is a spiritual path, which, although it may have ancient roots, is nonetheless very modern in its approach to nature, to the environment and to the psychology of the modern mind.
These three part video introduces you to this very world and will help you define your own path, designed to help your spiritual side grow and flourish.

Terry and I became friends through author Chris Stone. We had dinner together at the Red Lion, talked about Druidry, the Stones, (including the two in the Red Lion's basement), the Warband, Virginia, and many other things. I even still have his mobile number stored. He will be missed, at least in this form, as I'm sure he will always watch over Avebury. In fact, in willing to wager that from now on, during the quiet moments of a Druid ceremony in Avebury, you will hear the sound of a motorcycle.

So how many stones can you lift. If your truly druid you can move the stones.
I'm just not convinced. I love the idea of Druidry but we know almost nothing about them. I would be absolutely thrilled if we suddenly found something substantial about the druids but, until that happens, we're just feeling around in the dark. Aren't we?
They didn't take record. No writings of their secrets. They verbally passed on their teachings, which had to be committed to memory.

that dont make much sense a druid being a soldier?
logic would suggest that would be a person who is invested in destruction of the earth and the life forms contained upon its beautiful landscape,
I feel folk who are not true to their beliefs are a hindrance to its growth. those who seek knowledge of the natural laws and ways of its spirituality only to aid those who want it suppressed. soldiers have been test subjects and manipulated, mind controlled and so on,
begs the question if a soldier wears the dress of a druid at ceremony then wears the uniform of death and destruction a few hours later he surely has contempt for at-least one of his roles in his community?
Religious Wars trap the spiritual energies They Religion the people or Re-Legion the people. secret oaths reveal true beliefs and a soldier has a oath he takes to uphold in favor of the suppressors of wisdom and sacred knowledge
In my opinion and only my opinion i stand to be corrected and even enjoy being wrong to get the truth,the modern druid can only speculate on the tools of the past and do not fully understand all the wisdom and knowledge the ancients held. due to the kind of interference by those seeking to mislead and suppress. the soldiers of the Re-Legion infiltrated murdered and destroyed sacred sites and structures that held keys to unlocking the knowledge the druid should hold.
i must state this is only my view i am no expert just like the majority i also seek wisdom and knowledge to pass on to the beautiful spirits i meet reg upon Tara or Newgrange.
I can tell you this the portal contained within the Hill of Tara is open and her energy is beaming right now for those who understand these energies will certainly be feeling her vibration right now..

I do get what you're saying, however, as pointed out in the videos the druid is a servant of their society, and being a warrior, or as is today a soldier, can easily be seen as part of serving ones society. Personally, I'm quite the pacifist and wouldn't find it right to be a druid and a soldier, but that doesn't mean I can't see why others would find it fitting for themself.
Universal Druidry is a Joke !!
