I know Heid Swedberg's portrayal of Susan was widely criticized (even by Jason Alexander!). But I thought her playing it perfectly straight was a good apposition to everyone else.
The way Mrs. Ross takes such delight in the cabin's destruction. And when Aunt Sarah says "I KNEW it!".
Nobody notices that Susan parents are played by 2 prominent actors from Twin Peaks: Laura Palmer's mom and the town forensic doctor.

All this because Kramer couldn't properly put out a cigar.
