Thanks to Kate Atkinson for the books, thanks to Jason Isaacs for great acting (and, of course, the other members of the cast) and thanks to the BBC for making this series in their usual superb way !

Isaacs is eminently watchable and could easily pass as Daniel Craig's (more handsome and sexy imo) brother. Really really wish he'd have done at least four more seasons of Case Histories.

Oh, God, yes he should keep the stubble. He looks ridiculously handsome with that stubble. I loved this interview. He's so charming, and personable, and down to earth. And apparently very funny (weird guy in the shot had me laughing a little too hard, because I said the same thing before he acknowledged it, lol.) I sound like the typical fangirl, I know, but I'll be damned....he's so easily likable!

Wonderful interview with Kate Atkinson and Jason Isaacs about "Case Histories". Superb books, both written by Kate and audio, read by Jason.
Love the television series. Hope that Kate Atkinson writes more books with Jackson Brodie in them. Excellent screen adaptations.

Interesting interview - Kate Atkinson is a top class author and Case Histories is an excellent novel. This is a haunting story which lingers in the mind long after reading it.
I didn't like the disparaging comment made by Isaacs about the waiter who accidentally appears in the background.

I was disappointed when I learned that Mpt would no longer be airing this. I guess it was meant to only have three episodes.
I absolutely loved this show. :-(

I love Jason's beard in this video. I think he normally looks better without a beard but clearly a bit of stubble adds some sexiness :D

Just read "Life after Life" and excitement mounts at the books yet to be read and the BBC series I missed. (Too much time in Donegal and Berlin.) New Kate fan.

"Most women don't like beards." Not it my case, Kate. Otherwise I enjoyed this interview, I can't believe I haven't read the books yet, but I definitely will. One of my favourite shows actually, sad it's all over (but I'm never gonna give up on dreaming about another book and plots with Jackson Brodie).

One of the actors in the first series who realy shone for me was Gwyeth Keyworth, Hadn't seen her before or since, such a shame she hasn't featured again. Her Scottish accent considering she is Welsh was marvellous.

How does that comment NOT imply sexism ...?
(AS Byatt, Penelope Fitzgerald, Hilary Mantel, Angela Carter, Patricia Highsmith, Agatha Christie, Donna Tartt, Susan Hill, Eleanor Catton, Annie Proulx, Doris Lessing, Iris Murdoch ... I mean SERIOUSLY do I need to go on ...??)

He can’t help being such an actor. He inserts himself into whatever she’s saying. Not his fault, but a professional interviewer would have let us hear more of her. Her body language says she’s not comfortable and a pro would have made this easier for her.

He is pretty rude here. "Only time I get to be a beard", "EATS plot. EATS plot" etc. She can't help it she is gay, it is a genetic fault, not a lifestyle choice. We get it, guy, you are super smart. Now try being nice, ok?

+Helia Puro I'm confused -- how was any of this about her sexuality? And it seemed to me like he's pretty reverential of her talent.
