Having played this game it really is a PTSD simulator; except for the Christmas Green Army Men mode
It's almost impossible to get NO teamkill if you're playing on a night map with hardcore mode on.
Jesus Christ, everything was hell
Fweeeh Fweeeh on a night map, muzzle flash is the only evidence where your enemy is. So literally every time you play your just fucking shooting in the direction where that flash came from. Then there’s times where your stuck in a house and the enemy keeps gangbanging you and a bunch of other friendlies with explosives. This game is like a horror game
In point capture, KDA does not matter. The only thing that matters is capturing the point. The attacking force shouldn't never be afraid of dying. Never sit back and camp for kills, always charge right into the enemy lines and take down as much as you can, even if it means death. If everyone is scared of dying, they will never be efficient enough to advance into the enemy lines. There is a reason that the attacking force has more tickets than the defending force. This is the exact reason.
Favorite part when soviets ringing the bell. Reminds me of when a teacher is disciplining the class when someone says something sexist or racist
Time to make that teacher's arm tired as fuck, tho.

Quick correction Zombies were in the sequel Shellshock Blood Trails on Ps3 and 360 Shellshock Nam the 1st one on the ps2 and xbox (I think) was just a straight up war shooter pretty good one actually.

I liked Vietcong 2, because you got to play as an NVA soldier, which is, you know, the dream. 7554 is good as well, although incredibly hard. It looks like you can play as Viet Minh in this one as well - SKS best rifle.
There is one vietnam game, oldschool fps called Vietcong. Amazing shooter, solid campaign and amazing multiplayer.

@@hyena_4740 Its a game from 2003. Played from 2005 to 2013. Once gamespy support went out, it died. There are several community launchers with multiplayer. It is Pretty much dead, yes.

Technically we never lost in Vietnam since technically we never declared war on North Vietnam, but yeah be did a tactical withdrawal which pretty much means loss, so technically we didn't lose the vietnam war because we never declared, although I might be wrong

@@triggerme6144 I get that your mission was to prevent chine from spreading communism any further but this was in the long run after vietnam fell to the communist. With all the support the us gave the south vietnamese to prevent them from falling to the communist i would argue that you did win the war but not the war itself. In the long run you won it but you did lose in the war itself as you pulled out allthough in a peace conference. There was no real winner when the peace conference happened and after that the war almost immediatly continued. The us wasnt sure it achieved its goal when i pulled out as comunism could still have spread further so i would say that during and when the us pulled out they didnt yet know if they would achieve their goal and thus not have won it when they pulled out.
@@triggerme6144 But the peace accords are also a product of popular opinion, loss of soldiers and global opninion on the way the us fought the war. The us slowly got forced to a peace accord mainly because they didnt want to start an official war in fear the vietnamese would get more support fromt the chinese and soviets. The public wanted the us out more as the war progressed and a nation that loses the will to fight a war and leaves one could be considered someone who loses a war. Its not at all agreat comparison but russia was also not seen as a victor of world war 1 after they left in 1917. They also had to leave because popular opinion was against their participation which ended up in civil war.

This game is practically PTSD simulator. Especially campaign on hardcore mode while night time battle and its raining with fog. Holy shit the VC's are practically invisible. I was playing as US Marines and it was bloody chaos, not to mention im listening to vietnam war era song. Its not good for your heart and mind thats for sure
