You're definitely not the only one puzzled. After the interview I thought I would go and read some nice comments about Idina. Didn't really happen.
Things like her saying "they're all the same" was just a joke right? I saw that as a joke, or at least something she really didn't mean or was serious about.

She’s American and her name Idina was inspired by the name Edina which is Hungarian as for her last name it is actually spelled Mentzel but she took the t out so people would have an easier time pronouncing it (obviously that didn’t work lol) but yes it is German
