I wonder if the people that own the power rangers IP have stipulations that the game has to actually be playable or if WC have freedom to do what they want.
Im getting tired of having my mods uninstall every time they update the game. The game has been on a downward spiral for a while. Unfortunately, i dont think it's ever going to be the Ark we knew and loved again.
My mods won't download now.... I've tried for hours in done till next update I guess.

Thats you're complaint? really lol? My console runs asa at 25 fps at what looks like worst than 144p resolution and your bitching about needing to redownload mods every update lol. Get better internet if waiting for downloads is your issue.
I don’t know about anybody else, but I really miss ASE. ASA has turned into something completely different than what Ark should be. I personally will not be paying for extra dinos and I hate that I can see them on my map even though I haven’t paid for them. The main reason for this is every single update that comes 0:01 removes every single mod that I have installed including ones that I have paid for. I lose everything that is connected to every single one of those mods and half to start over. The other thing that upsets me is that if I transfer from one map to the other, I lose everything I have because it tells me that I am an enemy, and I no longer own any of my structures or dinosaurs, I really just miss ASE
Yeah. I bought ASA on the last steam sale but after seeing how mods and updates are working, im ok wsiting until all maps and updstes are out. There's nothing incredibly new in ASA. This supposed to be am ASE upgrade but they continue to treat it like an early access game. I'm also upset ASE modders are leaving.
That’s not the game. It’s you. It’s knowing how to mod and edit game files. Same was for ase. Other than paying for Dino’s it’s the same game.also it is in beta. I’ve never had any of that happen because I edit my game files to let me travel with anything including element and artifacts.if you don’t know how to mod or edit id suggest finding a community that hosts ase.
At least on official ASA feels like a downgrade, that dino render distance is horrible, you are literally peekaboo things when there is many people on, and all looks horribly empty at distance. Plus the center now, on official, is empty as heck, lava island used to be amazing, you could find a bunch of alphas there, lots of rexes, carnos, and sometimes even 3 gigas. Now is empty, some dlc cats and a very few dinos.

That this fucking game still crashes regularly, and all the bugs and issues, it's ridicolous...
There are 2 annoying bugs that came around like 4 months ago on a new patch, creatures suddenly turning into lv 1 , and that you lose the ability to access crafting stations and vaults, sometimes rendering out fixes it, other times you have to completely log out.
I hate that not being able to access my stuff. I didn’t think others were experiencing it

Some of these new creatures are bugged too and need work. Ceratosaurus attack Thylas on Scorched Earth but the Thylas don't attack back. I saw a 130 Thyla I was wanting to tame getting attacked by a lvl 50 Cerato and the thyla was walking like was nothing and died before I could grab it with my argy.
To be fair ark players are always angry.

What makes me mad is I host a unofficial server on my own stuff and it takes me 30 mins to update the server because it doesn't hit my server till then.
A lot of the problem with unofficial servers is nitrado. They take all unofficial servers down and update them a few at a time
Not to mention an average 400 ping
The ping has to do with the equipment that the server is being hosted on. Got to have a minimum memory allowance of 500gb. The series s can't even host a server

I guess they saying what i experienced when I tried to get on my server. It said I needed to download 666 mods and the paid mods were alot of them trying to make us pay to get on our own server. Power rangers on ark proper sucks

I was really hoping to hear more about this issue specifically because I just found out I'm not the only one experiencing this in my server. And we're all on a PVP map too so that's definitely no bueno 😔

Devs dont test new content or even maps on live servers. They test on a closed network with minimal players and say its good then launch said content. Then scramble every time to fix stuff they didnt find on their testing
This is 100% the issue, they NEED a quality control department who pull releases if it's not right.
I quit because they made ratholes impossible option to build in. Completely fucked thier entire solo/duo player base.
Oh yeah.They're updates great.I just built like I don't know 500 foundations and like a 1000 maybe 1500 walls and like 800 roofs and put it all together and got my base where I could be safe.And then they updated the game and wiped everything I did over the last three hours

I host my own server and sometimes updates are slow to update on server. I have to restart at times when other players are running around in their underware.
Hey mate, you raised some valid points if the Devs and upper management just focused on making ark playable for everyone, and optimised I might actually return to the game. All the QOL changes easily could have just been added to ASE. Anyway thanks for the new video I look forward to more covering ark
Why does the game say that I have to download the required mods when I want to join a official server??? (Pc)
It's a modded server. And in order for you to play in it you have to download the mods that are in that server.

After the update I cant access the mods section. All the mods I installed missing from activated/installed list. The whole game crashes out within 30 secs of loading into single player map. The game on Xbox ran perfect before this.
one of the most evil gltches is that ppl canacces your vaults, benches and station if you dont have a lock on it. im not sure if its happening in pvp but its currently happening in some servers in pve

Me sitting here watching this videon pl 9:10 aying ark singl player. Thank god i checked my mods after the update i didnt loose anything. 5 mins later game crash comw back mods gone and everything atchached deleated.... i was using visual storage.......
I was using a stack mod and lost everything that was associated with that mod. So much grinding gone.
Also, ASA was waiting for this update and being built for the end goal of UE5 ---- I'm also running AM4 (5900x) and I have game maxed at 4k with a 3090FE and I flashed the 3090 - NVIDIA Resizable BAR Firmware Update Tool.
why does the windows version take like 2 or 3 days to update. im just sitting here with an old version of the game and cant play on my server i pay for
They need to first fix all the issues with the game. Then create a test event and make sure it can handle it. Then and only then they should release special events (Power Ranger Boss Battles with functioning Megazord for tribes to use) (Jurassic Park Themed Event) and whatever else the player base comes up with. They’d have an unlimited supply of gamers willing to pay if it all works properly

Console is rough when they update. It crashes so often its nigh unplayable.
Yeah this recent update Uninstaller all my mods as well as corrupting my save file so I had to start all over again
They need to fix the meshing areas because I was literally running student next to a stone and it messed me I got pictures of it and everything I don't understand this game there's so many mesh areas the open and I'm not even trying to measure myself
Would just love it if the game wouldn’t crash because I’m looting a drop…or fighting a Dino… or swimming in the ocean… or loading into an artifact cave… or artifacts actually appearing where they supposed to… you know… simple stuff that SHOULD be working to play the actual game.

I run a server on my pc and play on it. All high settings. Get around 50-60 fps I think that’s fair but yeah the game always needs a lot of help. Kinda sad but I still can’t stop playing it. It’s just fun because I guess there’s nothing like this and I think if another game makes this and it’s better. That game will blow up honestly
Ark survival Ascended made for PS7 but released on PS5 and the respective Generation's Xbox and PCs 😅
I have 126 played days in ark evolved on xbox, that's roughly equal to if I sat down to play and didn't get back up for any reason and played for roughly 4 months STRAIGHT (for context I started ark evolved early/mid 2021).
With that said 7days in ascended on xbox. Came later during scorched earth time period. Once center came in so broken (holes in the map, players/tames teleported from the sea to the ground with tames dying, etc) and power rangers (like you said it dont make sense, jurassic park or monster hunter would of made better sense) being announced my wife and I left ascended and went back to ark evolved. Ascended is yes broken but I think a better word is unplayable or at least unplayable to be enjoyable. Yes evolved had it's issues but generally it was still playable once I got in the mix, due to either communication/fixes from wild card or people figuring out the issues and avoiding them (gen2 mission crash issues). Don't get me wrong some of the new dinos are awesome and finally being able to do mods is great but that wasn't enough. Sadly, at least in my opinion (and I know not everyone will agree), ark ascended is in a way a more broken/junkier version of evolved that has some pay walls (which I expect more to come in the future possible in higher volume) and it appears to me that it doesn't have the same heart that ark evolved brought to so many of us, which ot turn made us love this game.
I am totally fine with cosmetic skins being extra. I am not okay with creatures being extra unless it is part of a larger pack like Bob's Tales. Least there I am getting bonus stuff on top of a new creature.
This makes sense. That i agree with or just do what they did in evolved, pay for the map and get everything else that goes with it. At least it'll feel worth it.
I’ve had ASA for about 2 weeks on PS5 and it’s gotten out of hand with the amount of crashes I get on single player. I redownloaded Survival Evolved just because I don’t have the same problems. It’s a shame I got both my ps5 and Ark recently and I can’t even play without it crashing.
It seems like PC game pass or PC window versions get the bad deal again, still no update for the client, So no official servers, also there is still no fix for Bob's Tall Tails which hasn't worked since The Centre was launched.
Maybe fix when you pay for a mod and then have to update it, it doesn't make you have to pay for the mod again.
I would agree fix the game first before adding stuff just make it run properly please.

Try to search "Club Ark" in the official network search bar. it should show up there was like 10 servers at launch. idk about now though

Being a ps5 player I’ve crashed a couple of times only in fly mode . I have mods as well , I check out the club Ark that’s cool . Not into the power rangers what’s that got to do with dinosaurs 😂. More themed like jurassic park . But I know they need to Fix but I still love this game have done for 6 years I’m crazy I know 😂
Content creators I will post this challenge in raas Clark’s comments too but here’s a challenge on a new video I would personally love to watch make a video playing both games ase and Asa for the first time like from the perspective of a new player grade content and graphics and do a comparison this will settle which game is better or if it’s really just a re skin

I was hoping the update would allow me to re download my survivor on the island map. It crashed after the gamma ascension boss battle. And still my only option is to create a new character which makes all my structures and resources I collected in solo, obsolete. That 2000 black pearls I was proud to finally have saved up.. they gone
So that happened to you also as it did to me. Though I took my new toon through beta and gamma, no problem.
@Vrouwmens it's the second time after a boss battle my character has been fully deleted. This is my 3rd save file!! First two months into playing I hadn't even made it to any of the ascension battles and I started it up one day and my solo world was cooked. Only option was to make a new player and couldn't use any of my original structures same as this time after the battles. Fix the base game is a sad understatement at this point.

It’s sad that videos like this get you the views it just highlights the problem with the ark community but you do have a choice on the videos you make you can do what gets you the views I guess and pander to the overwhelming majority the constantly complains about this game or you can make videos that actually help people I would love for anyone to make videos helping new asa players because we’re all new to this game and if you think your a expert on it great spend your time helping us who struggle with stuff and need the content you don’t like that would make it a good helpful community so content creators plz help us newbs become experts by creating content that does that this I will watch and support and like

The problem started when they decided to basically remake ASE simply cause they wanted to make money. No one can't say it was for any other reason cause you could clearly see their intentions when they first wanted to charge all over again for the maps and they took it back but turned it into a bunch of different micro transactions between mods and new dinos being behind a pay wall. Instead of using their workforce to fix the original game and work on Ark 2 this is what they end up doing. Rn I'm of the mindset that Ark 2 will never come and if it does it will be garbage simply by looking what they've done and how they've handled ASA.
You’ve missed some things along the way, to summarize; ASA was originally announced as a free UE5 upgrade. They stated that they were developing it to better familiarize themselves with UE5 for ARK 2 development. Then somewhere along the way wildcard / snail games got into financial trouble and had a big bill that they owed nitrado for officials, so they pulled a switcharoo on the “free” portion, signed an exclusivity deal with Nitrado to cover the outstanding balance and finish development, then started slowly adding in micro transactions to keep the ship afloat.
After the update huge parts of my base and my complete boat were deleted on the center. It was me and my dinos in a field. I uninstalled right after. I bought bobs, forglar, and two other premium mods. Idk. On to other games.
And exactly how much is the unreal 5.4 upgrade gonna free you say .... Fuq off wildcard im done

Ark aint ark no more, in ASE is was, HOW to tame something, in ASA its HOW MUCH to tame something. I really hate that I pay for a game (twice) and there are things in it i cant use (unless I pay more)

Ok so this is what I think why we are all pissed about ark se came out in 2017 and evry update there never fixed the game then 2023 came and asa came supposed to be free then nope we take the old game done erase everyone's hard work make buy the new version start all over again make us wait for years to get all the maps back again and the damn game has the same issues if not more then the old every update we get says makes game better but not speaking for anyone but me I dont see and at this point dont believe it will sadly I fear the same for ark2 if that ever happens since it's already been 4yrs of that game coming out and still no closer to a release date guess it explains why every day I play I see more and more bases decaying it's really just sad

I know people wanna be upset. But any major game update always ruins mods. For any game. If you ever played skyrim any update Bethesdea did would brick a lot of mods until the mod author updated the mod. So nothing new here. Dont use mods if you dont want more in game issues.
