Agree, making money on club Ark or hubworlds you pay for is way better!
Would like to see them team up with Jurassic Park to give us a official indoraptor or rex. I'd even pay for skins like the mosasaurus or Blue for a raptor skin. That seems more fitting. I'd pay money for that to support the game.
Imo they need to capture that feeling of entering the tek cave for the first time . That challenge and excitement hooked me . The music, the art . Just an absolute masterpiece of a boss . These last two maps are nothing in comparison. There is no challenge

This mod was not even created by wildcard, they literally just inspected it and gave them green light to sell it to people who DO want it

@@philipphoffmann8929 I have the recommended specs for this game, 32 gig ram etc, and I can't get above 30 frames per second on low settings. It's literally the only game on my PC that I can't run at 60 fps. I think he's saying they should get on fixing that part of the game. You know, optimize it and fix the meshing issues before shoving another paid DLC down our throats.
right? or optimize the damn game.... i cant play it on my pc yet can play ase with crazy amounts of mods. and when i ran ascended on my laptop which has a newer gen i7 and a 3070 in it my laptop starts to get EXTREMELY hot to the point if i dont turn my fans on max my pc will get soo hot it turns itself off

People buy anything for alot of reasons, maybe to show off or just for bragging rights.
These are the same people that have no idea what they are doing to the gaming industry aswell, they think its harmless, when all these companies are genuinely just testing everyone, testing how far they can go with the consumers.
Live service games are flooding the market, Fortnite is still making billions to this day, and us as gamers just keep feeding it, day in, day out.
The devs could literally release a half finished (give or take) video game, with a built in store that works well. People will throw money at it.

I'm sure the few players left are sad, most of us moved away long time ago. You might want to cover a game that isn't one leg in grave.
I like that you didn't buy the power rangers pack because too many CZcamsrs will complain about something they don't like (for example in the sims community) and they'll tell you not to buy it.... But then they buy it anyways to make more content themselves giving people fear of missing out. So they say one thing and do another, not voting with their money and even making people wanna get it.

Power Rangers are literally fancy TEK (technology), and it's prehistoric creatures as their Megazords. How is it not essentially the same?
@ZealousAvenger tek technology based on harnessing element. an alien resource that landed on earth. Later, a war was waged over it. The ARKs were created to purge element from earth. The ship in genesis was made to find a planet that element hasn't destroyed. Tek is the antagonist of the game. Right up there with Rockwell. Power Rangers is not tek. Not even close.

This fall began with ascended
The fall started with releasing expansions while still in early access and broken way back in 2017 or so and they've only gotten worse with time.
Windows platform update for the game. Since Monday, we haven't received any updates, and now it's the weekend event, meaning we're unable to participate because we purchased the game on Windows rather than Steam.
why not steam windows ark is trash

do you know that windows players cant play the game since 6 days now? they dropped tha update without taking a cert from microsoft so basicly after they update they were like "oops we need a cert" we cant even acces the officials servers our bases gonna decay our dinos and everything we worked hard for and this is just because they are so stupid and so money hungry they dont fix the game but instead they keep cashgrabing us releasing stupid power rangers skins that doesnt even work!! we just want a working game and an update that works and y'all keep supporting this!! you eeep buying and buying these stupid things we should stand and say no to pay to win dinos !! no to a pay to win dlc and deffintly NO to a stupid cosmetics!!

I don't know. I'm not a fan of power rangers, in fact i have never watched it, i just learned that apparently they actually did have these dino robots so i guess in a way they do fit into the world of ark
They're only skins after all, and many big games made collabs with other games, movies and series that don't fit the theme. This isn't done to fit the general theme of the game, it's done to specifically offer something to people that is different from the always same things you see.
Don't mistake your own disliking of them doing something other than what you want to have priority with it being a bad idea. Again, i don't have the slightest interest in power rangers and i don't even know what they're all about, but still.
And that's really all this complaining is about. People want new maps and stuff so they take everything other than what they want to see and complain about it, it's pathetic. That's exclusive to the gaming community, not gonna lie. You don't want it? Don't get it. It has zero impact on you and if you took a look at the mod creator, it's not even been wildcard, so they did not focus on something you didn't care about yet here all of you are complaining

To be honest. I'm just enjoying playing solo when I get the chance. I love this game and I hope this is just a giant speed bump into making the game what it deserves to be.. here's hoping!

Best thing they could do is switch premium maps to a dlc more like the pyromane so they don't count towards mod storage, because they eat up so much space.
Paid dinos should only be available on unofficial or via paid dlc maps and dinos included. Putting dinos in official maps behind a pay wall whille still being able to be killed by it is absolute BULLSHITE!!
On another note THAT amount of regular players on a game with now 0 official support says ALOT about the new version.

Bed Spawns if you place a bed in some places around the map that is a cave you cannot respawn there but you can still build
Drops/beacon lights not visible on series S, but honestly it's probably low on the list and it's already been reported.

I'd take a mosasaurus skin from Jurassic Park any day over power ranger skins. But I'm not a power ranger fan and if people are then I'm happy for them. A lot of dinosaurs need an update. It would be nice to see Jurassic Park team up with Ark to have an official indoraptor or rex. Or some Blue skins for the raptors.

I play on xbox series s. On the s we have no drop beams. This started at launche of se. Dollie replaid to my post on discord. And told me it might take some time to fix it. Why not focus on fixing the game first. So everyone can play the same game with same loot and everything. Once fixed all bugs i don't mind paying a couple off euros for a tame
What would be great if the updates to the game would stop completely deleting installed mods so I don't have to spend 3 hours trying to remember and reinstall all the mods active on my server.

Micro transactions such as pay to win aspects like pyromane and alot of the bobs tales like the shovel treasure chest is too pay to win for alot of us that cannot afford all these extras!
Game cant run DLSS on 4k cards
They put time into things like this but the sighn in to server lobby on consol still is broken. Have to still search for your server even tho it's favourite and can't quick login to last played, has been not fixed since ascended came out. Iys like they don't even test the game. And the global chat on consol still is glitchy game is more broken than ever but they put time in to other crap
1. They can't afford to monitize good faith efforts. Especially with how over leveraged they are with ASE having more players currently.
2. ARK always felt more head-canon themed than anything, the story as a whole is larger than "the one" player.
3. A topic that would be awesome if you stayed on top of is the certification process with patches. I'm on windows GP and still don't have the most current patch AND my Official Dlc isnt working, it's been several weeks and the only time i heard it was gonna be addressed was with one of your videos.

In PS5 the photo mode doesn't save the pics so I cannot use it in canvas. Now, with all the problem ark has this is maybe the stupidest, but I mean how it is possible in 2024 that a game is sold with features that don't work at all?? I'm sick of seeing complaints saying that the Power Rangers skins is "distracting Wildcard". It was literally made by a different studio.
Honestly, i get the anger about the pyromane, peak pay2win as you can't even freeze your tribemates pyromanes or access their inventory without buying the mod, but everything else is fine. Again, the vast majority of mods isn't made by wildcard, they only gave them green light and i can almost guarantee you that this did not distract the actual dev team from working on what you want to see
You're literally just complaining to complain at this point, i can't take much more of this. I liked watching your ark content before but this literally turned into a channel dedicated to complaining about things that don't have any impact on both your gameplay *AND* their progress on other maps

I do not agree with the vs power rangers would never purchase that.. But I love Ark as it tradionatally was with a few new bits. Had a lot of laughs on it and made many friends via this game Ark se Ps4 I since brought a ps5 and had to buy Ark Ascended because it is a gane that had so much to do you can not stop playing. I guess the way it is you, either love it or hate it.
I'd rather pay 5 for an actual creature you can use them a skin to put on a thyla to make it into a pyromane end of line if we want ark to be supported and new things they need revenue period!!!

The only way to save that is one way, the change the pyromane to a skin and give it free to the peopel who buyed already.

i agree complete with your thinking, also they have to look in the skins, as example the player is not visible on the skinns, so pvp pay to win.
They dont think about what they do, they setup peopel alot. Skinns it self is fine but they need to look more in to it how they and what they do.
I didnt buy anything so far, because my game goes from around 60 frames to 15 to 20 frames when i look at water. so a no go for me. I wait for optimisation maybe the unreal update will do it but this i see in the future.
If they Optimise, and there some cool skins like the pyromane i would buy but i am also like you it must fit the theme. But also i know alot peopel like crasy stuff skinns and thats fine for me.

The only way it's pay to win is pvp they need to end pvp and the game will be so much better no more nerfs because this tribe is better than me and wiped my base and cosmetics are trash I would much rather spend $5 on a new tame then a skin just think of this the game will be around for a very long time if they keep adding new paid content that changes the overall game like the pyromane I'm looking forward to the next one

I don't see how power rangers doesn't fit since we have those exact creatures in game, however the price of is greedy as hell just like the pyromane price but thats in a league of its own of bs. Skins and mods i don't have issues with but pay to win creatures like the pyromane is greedy and creatures shouldn't be behind a pay wall. Bob tall tails i was upset with because of how it was done plus we are waiting for things we have already paid for twice over. This behaviour from wildcard is unacceptable and needs to be stopped before it gets any worse, because believe me it will get worse if they don't. If they carry on players will leave and they lose, if they stop now they could save themselves from losing their playerbase.

Ark hasn’t added the new guns it’s a mod for modern weapons and the game has gotten boring so I downloaded it but it doesn’t work and they haven’t reply to the issue so the over all issue is how do we know what mods work vs not they have paid for mods and we aren’t guaranteed that they will work if we pay for them so I am confused about everything now

The game is bugged I can’t even see a good portion of the button icons or stuff here and their
they are literally killing their own game first, pride event, paying for tames, power rangers, and the fact that they suck at releasing updates windows version still does not have official servers up yet its been 4 days. only release 122 center servers when having 460 island servers and people spend 3hrs trying to get on. late release of center for windows giving an unfair advantage for windows players and people who play on other platforms can get good spots on top of Chinese speed hackers pillar spamming the entire center map. its a god awful game. they never learn how to successfully release and update after 8 years. you know the definition of insanity? because that's WC they do not learn from their mistakes. they never listen to their community giving us shit we didn't ask for instead of fixing and insuring server security.
I would like a closet. Well at least clothing that is more feminine. Events are rarer and I miss clothing. Western stuff is ok but I want maybe more sexy or fantasy

Ark ascended became a money grab when we had to pay for it. No one should have had to pay for it. Not when we had all the maps before.

Studio wildcard has been screwing this game up...I have myself reached out to wildcard and i have been ignored. I don't mind the cosmetic sales but they need to fix the game especially for console players like me and others the game all it does is Crash constantly. So they need to really fix the game

Power rangers ain't that big of a deal cause im not paying something I'm not interested in but pyromane being 5 bucks is retarded honestly I'd rather pay for three new creatures for 5 bucks or preferably just make them free. Bobs tales i ain't complaining because its 30 bucks and it gives new tools to create new ways to enjoy the game, its gives additional stuff for three maps but im curious what kind of steampunk tech we will get in aberration, kinda want a steampunk generator for a cheaper power using water source and fuel for a fire. If ASA wasn't 45 bucks and we had tp rebuy the ASE maps plus the additional stuff like bobs tales then it'd be a different story but i do wish wildcard would prioritize fixing the game and working on rebuilding the maps a bit more than dishing skin packs out but its wildcard so it is what it is and im not glued to the game that I'd be a toxic whiners, to busy playing Final shape and Helldiver's 2 plus got Shadow of the Erdtree so im not that concerned with the slow pace if wildcard but again i want the game to be better but i think snailgames has different intentions in mind unfortunately.
I saw the power rangers thing when I logged in to just reset the timer on base and laughed. Wild care is just a big money grab from the start of ASA. I have lost interest in ASA as they are more interested in money grabbing with stupid crap instead of improving the game. They keep.going this way I will stop even logging in.

I mean, it’s obviously gonna happen in an official game where there is competition and the path to reach the end goal is difficult. Especially since there’s no wipes, the bigger tribes will keep on getting bigger. That’s why I think they don’t purposely fix these exploits. Because it’s the only way to keep people playing the game. Because it’s the only way to raid certain tribes. You don’t think these devs are making money benefiting from this. The game is a joke. And I love this game so much. It has so much potential. But the own devs and people higher up don’t even care about it. It’s corrupt from the top down.
