"Trooper like guy" lol. I'm impressed that you can tell its the Mandalorian on such a small mini, even if its too small for human eyes to tell on their own
just wanted to say how awesome this video is! I have had this printer for 1 week and the instructions are terrible. Thank you for making some of the only documentation that I can use!!! Keep up the great work
Just want to step in and say this is the ONLY leveling instructions for the LD-002H that I've found which actually works. The book says don't use anything between the bed and the screen. Their videos and other people's videos say use a piece of paper. In both cases, I would level it but then when I poured in the resin into the vat, it would stop homing properly. But the booklet you used was the perfect height to dial it in. Now it levels perfectly and I'm back to printing.
@@subhradeepsharma yes actually, I got the resin printer and I also got the wash and curing machine as well, this machine has produced many amazing prints for me! The smell of resin is something to get used to though.

UV light from those lamps will damage your eyes. Need to wear protective glasses or put that cover on. Also, the resin is a sensitizer that will eventually cause you to have allergic reactions with enough exposure. Masks and nitrile gloves are essential.

Do i need to do the insertuon of paper part? It says in the manual if the plat touches the glass surface, we are good. Got mine today. Waiting for the 10hr printing for eiffel tower
In a sense you could, but that's not quite how this one works. The printer only prints one color (mono-chrome), and also that was the point of using Slicer software. It takes a 3D image and slices it into hundreds of layers that are in essence just pictures.
How well ventilated does my room have to be for me to print with this printer? I have a couple windows, can I stand near it while it's printing? Sorry still learning
I would add two simple things: 1. Shake the resin bottle well before pouring it into the vat. Duh, yes, but the video skipped that part. 2. Instructions or tips for disposing the alcohol used to clean both the printed models and the vat. Uncured resin is very toxic, and shouldn't be flushed down the toilet or drain, so it should be put in a container and disposed of properly.
@@JJ-vp3bd yep...you can print a cover for the vat on another printer if you have one too, stops debris from getting on there. But so long as the vat is clean and nothing floating in the resin, you just use it for the next print.
Just don't rely on the pause feature if printing lithophanes, I paid the price and the next layer after resuming had created a split right across the lithophane.
Hey, I am looking to get a resin printer for printing lithophones. Is this problem specific to Creality LD-002H? Or do other printers have this problem? Anything I should know before getting a resin printer for printing lithophanes? Thanks!
@@jessepowellmason I had this issue with this printer and Anycubic Photon using pause feature, so don't get me wrong, litho's turn out perfect with these resin printers (i use Photo to mesh, not the freebies), just don't pause if the vat is getting too low on resin, just keep topping up. Reason i prefer to keep topping up is not to have as much mess just in case of a leak, which can happen!
nice review vlad. i have a few questions about the ender 3 pro, how tall is it with the filament spool on top and do they have thermal runaway protection?

If you haven't solved this, try roughing your plate surface a little bit with 400+ grit sandpaper (wet sand) and also try increasing your bottom layer times. Every brand of resin (hell, every *batch*) is a little different in its curing properties.
oof, for the same price Photon Mono has proper parallel UV, but their proprietary photon slicer sucks balls! I'm not going to hope on anycubic actually deliver on chitubox compatibility, just looking at the plethora of the file extension types for each anycubic printer available on save!
sand off just the remaining blobs from the supports then prime and if you get any orange skin on the primer then wet sand it with the highest grade emery paper you can get, you will need a magnifying glass to see the lines on a 2K print
