"You ain't going to be a millionaire"??? I beg to differ! I don't see how you could retire from the military after having a career as an officer and NOT be a millionaire. The take-home pay for an O3 with only 5 years of experience is equivalent to that of a $110-$120k salary in most states. If you can't turn your net worth into $1M witht that kind of pay then you are doing something wrong.

When I was in USAF in 70s the officers had it made. Free housing free medical a great salary and they could eat at the chow hall for a dollar. The supply officers really had it made.

Hey I’m currently a junior in college and am considering applying for OTS out of school and to hopefully join the Airforce as a finance officer. I currently have student loans for my degree and was wondering if and what the Airforce does for those already graduated college joining OTS with student debt.

They do but I believe the debt have to be a federal direct loan and may repay up to $65,000. Check with the finance office or recruiter for additional details.

Hey. I hope y'all see this, but I was planning on joining the air force and becoming an officer.. it has always been a dream of mine to join the military and to serve. But I have one question: do all air force officers have blood on their hands? Do all of them make decisions to have someone killed?

the answer to your question is far more complicated than a simple yes or no. and the best way to provide the answer is for you to arrive at it yourself.
