I've been trying to build myself back up after taking a mental health leave from a toxic workplace and it has ruined my self esteem and brought me to such dark places. I just turned 28 last month and I feel so incredibly lost right now but this has truly brought so much hope for me. I need to reconnect with my authentic self and the woman I want to be. I’m in a better space now and have recognized through therapy that I expect too much too soon with people and having serious issues with trusting others because of past hurts.. I am no longer hurt by the actions of previous friendships this is my affirmation!!! I am moving on in positivity and love ! I cried then added working out, journaling, reading and staying focused on my goals ❤

The world has conditioned as to be "conservative" and not to attract men but why can't they control themselves instead? Thank you for this video, I finally feel heard and understood I always just classified it as anxiety but really I think it’s your higher self feeling trapped and boxed in, wanting an outlet and to be heard. I related so much about retaliating. I had a value of treat others how they treat you because most times they're unaware of themselves and for them to only realize is the hard way of experiencing it themselves. People don't listen just by words but by how you make them feel. Then eventually I didn't like how I myself have become the person I didn't like. I finally understood what people meant about staying silent, remove yourself from the situation or remain acting kind in a heated situation. It wasn't for the person who didn't deserve it, it's for you to remain true to yourself knowing you can approach an argument in a calm and kind way. I'm still work in-progress letting go of this value. At the end of the day, I don't want to lose control of my emotions.
Hey sis, I'm so glad I found this video and looked up the definition of self-actualization. I'm on board with this. I do most of the things you said in the video except I have a hard time with consistency of doing those things. I let my emotions rule me but I'm learning to let my thoughts be in control and get my inner child parented so I can just show up for myself and down the line others.

It seems we’re all obsessed with know “how” a person has done something (which is why self help books and podcast are so popular) I honestly am intentional but I’m unsure of what changes have been beneficial in my life. Your channel reminds me of those very impactful changes that have helped me along my journey

I just came across one of your other videos and I instantly subscribed. I am currently in a period of stillness in my life and boy that had been a challenge because I always going! I am a mom of four who is currently taking care of my sisters to sons, while she figure some things out. And a ER/PACU nurse for about 14 years.
I’ve been home with the kids now for about a year. And it’s been interesting because I’ve become so accustomed to giving to everybody else that it feels weird giving to myself. Your journey has been empowering so far❤.
