Thank you Andrew for sharing your understanding of YHWH's Name!
I always feel so humble, realising that YAH is so magestic that how will we ever be able to comprehend the true meaning & impact, each time we utter His Name?
    Shabbat Shalom!

Why would you reject God’s Divine and Holy Name of 7 letters and 3 vowels (and 3 syllables) for a new name of 6 letters and 2 vowels?
7 is the Divine Number of God, not 6.
3 is the Holy Number of God , not 2.
      “Holy, holy, holy, (3)
      Lord God Almighty, (3)
Who was and is and is to come!” (3)
Why would you reject the Name of 3 syllables that comes from the Hebrew verb forms that mean “who was, and is, and is to come”?
Why would you accept the change of the 6th Hebrew letter V/Vav to W/Waw.
Why would you reject the name with the following vowels:
      A for Alpha
      O for Omega
      E for Existing (I AM)?
Have you rejected a Name where the vowels calculate to 21 (3x7 or 7+7+7) for a name that the vowels add to 6 (a=1, e=5), the Hebrew letters calculate to 63 and the whole name calculates to 84 which are all multiples of 7+7+7?
Have your ears have been itching.
      2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV)
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,
but according to their own desires,
      because they have itching ears,
      they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth,
and be turned aside to fables.
Could it be that you have really fallen for a bunch of fables - things made up by men and the devil himself?
      Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NKJV)
That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.
Could it be true that you have fallen for this scam that is a repeat of what has happened in the past?
      Jeremiah 23:25-27 (NKJV)
25 “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name,
saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’
26 “How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart,
27 “who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor,
as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.
Could really be true that you are worshipping a name that our Christian or Jewish forefathers and the generals of the faith actually did not know or use as little as 60 years ago?
Could it really be true that you are actually worshipping the same god that the Israelites kept turning to?
Could it really be true that you have been worshiping the blasphemous name of the beast as prophesied and introduced into Christianity by the Catholic Church in 19’66 under Pope Paul 6 with the printing of and adoption of the Jerusalem Bible?
      Revelation 13:1 (NKJV)
Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea,
having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns,
and on his heads a blasphemous name.
Could it really be true that you haven’t actually left your first love (God) and are part of the Great Falling Away/Apostasty?
      Revelation 2:4-5 (NKJV)
4 “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love (God).
      5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen;
repent and do the first works,
or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place--unless you repent.
      2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (NKJV)
      3 Let no one deceive you by any means;
for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first,
and the man of sin is revealed,
      the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped,
so that he sits as God in the temple of God,
showing himself that he is God.
Could it really it really be true that you are following and worshiping the antichrist beast with the blasphemous name that came up out of the sea and is ridden by the Jezebel Harlot Mystery Babylon that the Antichrist and False Prophet will be using?
      Revelation 17:3 (NKJV)
So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness.
And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy,
having seven heads and ten horns.
Could it really be true that those who who worship this beast will not have their names in the Lamb’s Book of Life?
Revelation 13:8 (NKJV) All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Could all this really be true?
God’s Holy Name given to Moses was never lost. People only had to ask Him.
“In front of Your Throne Lord God Almighty, what is Your True and Holy Name?”

If you study Hebrew names, you will see a couple of consistent patterns.
There are those ending in “el” such as we see with Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Ezekiel, Samuel, Nathaniel, Daniel, Joel where the “el” is a reference to Elohim.
The next is the reference to those ending in “ya”, “ah” or the “ah” sound: Joshua (Yehosua) Jeremiah (Yirmeya), Nehemiah (Nehemya), Isaiah (yesaya), Hosea (hosea), Joshua (Yehoshua).
Note the absence of the Yah sound at the beginning of the name. It is always a “Yeh”, “Ye” or “eh”
Jesus’ name in Hebrew (iesous said Yesous in Greek) means Salvation and is “Ye”shu”a” or “Ye”shu”ah” conforming to the Hebrew name patterns.
Hebrew names do not begin with “Ya” or “Yah” and do not end in “eh”.
YeHoVaH conforms with the Hebrew name patterns.
Yahweh is a relatively new name and is opposite or “anti” to the Hebrew name patterns.

Thanks to technology (internet/ HD copying of ancient manuscripts) the secret regarding the pronunciation has been solved with a count of 2,200+ vs zero towards YeHoVaH (no "j" as in "jam" and the connection to the JW sect, but "y" as in "yellow"). Anyhow, despite putting all the facts on the table, the majority of academics / "white plaster" and all, prefer THEIR versions. Just saying. PS "Yahweh" (etc.) can be traced to around the 1700s at the earliest. Shalom

Yehoshua, יהושע is the salvation of יהוה. He has accomplished what his father sent him to do and will return soon, to further establish hamalachut hashamayim. The best and only way to consider haTanach, is directly in Hebrew. That way no one can corrupt what you are reading. But alas, most people who have great influence over many minds, cannot read a word of it. Yehudim, say they do not utter hashem, well that cannot be true, because, every time they read it in Hebrew, יהוה is looking right back at the reader! Only in corrupted translations is this no longer possible.

God does not give his name in the Bible. In the OT God says his name is "too wonderful" for mankind and he will not give it to mankind. What you are calling a name is a description of what or who God is. It is like "I Am". Read Judges 13 and see what the angel (God) says about his name.

Call up my name? 3rd Commandment: "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain."
Also, It is way different than learning a language then having it as your native language and many of the tiny dialects are "hidden". For example, In English this letters combination "tion" create the sound of "sh" which looks strange to non English speaker.
So let's put aside the spoken Hebrew and deal with Biblically Hebrew only.
In Biblically Hebrew, there are four forms that the Torah can be explained, and there are four different ways to mark the letters which gives the letters different sounds and meanings which non Biblically Hebrew speaker will simply get lost. the Orthodox Jews knows the Biblically Hebrew and four different ways to mark the letters by heart.
There's also Aramaic which is the main language of the Talmud, again, Orthodox Jews knows it by heart.
You see, God coded his language in such way that less then 0.2% of humanity know this language, and from that group less then 0.04% knows the Biblically language of God by heart, and from that group, only a tiny fraction knows the four forms of Torah.
Sure, everyone can learn the spoken Hebrew language and learn some rules here and there, and still, God gave it to specific group of people who accepted and agreed to follow God's Torah. That's what make the Jews different from the rest of humanity and that's why Jews do not say God's name, and those who do, getting themselves into a lot of mess with God in this life time or the next, probably both.

Phonetically, your pronunciation makes no sense.
In Jeremiah we find the Almighty speaking through his prophet to the ruling Jews of the day, lambasting them for causing his people to forget his name for the name baal God. Long before Jeremiah the use of the name was outlawed on point of death which stands to this day.
Trying to convince someone there is no "V" in Hebrew is near impossible because of their language bias. It came from Latin. In Hebrew it is pronounced as "u" but written as "V." All across America (USA) one finds chiseled atop County/Federal buildings words like, "PVBLIC LIBRARY." Pronouncing pvblic as spelled for someone like you is impossible. Reality tells you the "V" is pronounced Phonetically as a double "oo" which is an English "u." Simple, eh?
The yud hey together make yah, which means "I breathe." You seem quite educated but show language bias.
