I'm Khmer, my mom uses it all the time. Once tried to stop using MSG in her food, next week later its back in the cabinet
Stop using MSG, you will all regret it sooner or later, MSG is known for being the chemical responsible for the addictive spike it causes in you taste buds, its basically a drug that you can't get rid off, not to mention the instantaneous ache in your stomach and your heart after you have it, if you're suffering from something in your body, like rash, pimples, skin problems, headaches, scalp problems, excessive fatigue, etc, then MSG was likely the main culprit.

well yeah "kind of like" is pretty 2.5/5 tbh, that's average. you can an enjoy food that's not bad and not great and to be honest when it comes to instant ramen, if a real ramen maker says it's 2-2.5 stars, it's worth it because of the low price point

A few years ago an indonesian friend cursed my life forever by introducing me to indomie. I can not eat any other instant noodle till this day and have to regularly order 40 packs of the mi goreng flavor online. If I ever find this man , I hope he can run fast. You don’t give indomie 3 stars and get away with it.

Interesting to note that according to his professional ramen chef preferences and taste, he heaped praise on the cheapest contender of the lot - Indomie mee goreng - whilst the priciest is the curry laksa from PrimaTaste. Indomie in Australia sometimes shows up at thrifty bargain stores for a measily dollar per packet, Prima taste is easily four dollars per packet but you do get a coconut powder sachet for that too.
This Indomie is not the best. There are vintage brands that are not widely sold anymore in Indonesia. Its taste is even better than Indomie.

I tried the Indomie mi goreng for the first time yesterday and I’m in love with them. So happy I was finally trying something new. I just need to reduce the seasoning on the curry one, that’s really salty but still freaking good !
Indomie can be combined with anything, usually I make it as a hamburger with beef.
I see a lot of creations using Indomie, some of which are even made into ice cream. Indomie is like a magic show, lots of creations and the taste is spectacular. Indomie also has a nice fragrance.

First time I tried fresh ramen was 10 years ago in Colorado at a newly opened mom&pop restaurant. Only now was I able to eat instant ramen again and I have to have it with kimchi, an egg, and some veggies in it.

The La Mian curry and La Mian laksa along with Indo me is life. The La mian noodles are a bit pricy compared to the rest but soooo worth it.
