Dave Mustaine "Buckethead is probably twice as good a guitar player as me and Slash combined"
Buckethead, Slash, DJ Ashba y Axl Rose juntos en el escenario por favor!!!
Did he really said that?
Buckethead doesn't do lyrics, he's like a Joe Satriani or a Steve Vai. It's all about the guitar and how well they can make it do the singing.
I believe he's much better than Satriani and Vai, as he's more emotional, creative, and has got the "heart and soul", along with his masterly playing abilities. Best since Hendrix! And Hendrix would say he's better, by a long shot, as he was always gracious and loved great players. Hendrix "heart and soul", blues, etc, make him tops. Buckethead is a once in 50 years guitarist. Best player in my lifetime! And I love many, listened a thousands of hours of Jerry Garcia(a favorite, who would've loved Buckethead, and may have, as Praxis was quite popular, Jerry died in 95'. Would have loved to see Buckethead come out after/during Drums/Space of a 2nd set Dead show, he'd have really gotten "out there" in space with Jerry! Slide into Dark Star >The Other One > The Eleven >St. Stephen! In my dreams! Who wouldn't welcome Buckethead to play with them, even momentarily? Is there anything that he can't do? The blues? I wondered. Then heard his version of "The Thrill is Gone". Amazing! Rambling old school style, my bad, lol.(I wonder if this couple usually listen to pop music? Beyonce, Drake, Lil Wayne, Britney Spears, Bad Brit alternative pop, The Wiggles? I paid $5, now review "this crap", lol. Maybe if they were comedians, fans would watch. I think only Buckethead listeners watched, besides a few, or one other, in comments. Not subscribing for sure! Boring hosts, unfamiliar with music that's been around for over 25 years? At least laugh at yourselves, for not knowing, etc. Add some "color" to your "play by play", or should I say "pay to play"! ALL HAIL BUCKETHEAD!
Tim Turk listen I can agree that he’s better than satch but I don’t think he’s better than vai, I just think vai can speak more with his guitar since he seems to be more comfortable with his instrument

Buckethead is a more seasoned player
Buckethead tells the story with the composition. You are free to drift off and your brain will fill in the details. Satriani and Vai are accomplished players, but Brian composes better stories that we can all relate to.
Nah no lyrics, Buckethead is a instramental one person band, he has over 400 albums out.
305 studio albums to be exact
@@deana551 For those new to Buckethead, name one that they should start with ?
TheJwwinter if youre new to buckethead you forsure need to check out his album called giant robot it was the 2nd solo album he ever released
TheJwwinter pearsons square
Try Cloma and electric tears
It's so so sad that now days ppl can't appreciate music and instruments . They need vocals and singing . What has this world come to .......
Kristijan Jurisic they are millennials, both yawned, comments uninspiring. They are too young and not ready for a modern day Mozart
Nowadays? There are probably more people now that listen to music without lyrics than throughout the latter half of the 20th century. Instrumental rock was blasphemy to the FM radio gods and continues to be. Nothing new there.
@@bimmerbent How old are you? If you're older than 38, I suppose you can complain about "Millennials," but what's your point, really?
@@twr412 there is a difference between instrumental music played by a person and one done in a computer and stored in a usb drive
@@JarlinJamesNDK13 Yeah? If I were to compose a piece of music in Sibelius that was then printed to 12 sets for a small orchestra, would it move you less if I were to painstakingly program each appropriate portion for virtual instruments? Do you think you could tell the difference? Do you understand how long composers have been doing this sort of thing? Would it surprise you to know that it's been happening for decades? Do you want to argue with professionals about it, or does a CZcams comment section set your boundaries?
She looks so bored, what a shame to not be able to enjoy this music
cuz there wasnt drake rapping over it
Shes an obvious dunce hat. How could she appreciate the magnificent magnitude of massive talent behind this ? She's more comfortable with being a dunce hat.
Right...0 attention span and not much more between the ears.
Yes she looks so bored , I agree.
But is it a shame?
No, it's just not for everyone, everybody have different tastes ☺️
This will scare you:
Not only is he wearing a mask... But he is also wearing a blackout mask under it. The guy can only make out large solid objects being lighted while on stage. He can't even see what he is playing.
not real a lot of video where you can caught a close up of the face you able to see the eye clearly
These people wish they were watching an Imagine Dragons concert right now
it's unfortunate that soulless pop sell outs like imagine dragons have such a large following smh
Not a chance
🤣🤣🤣
Buckethead is a genius. 'Nuff said.
I like you guys, but you simply have no idea and you cannot possibly begin to comprehend his skill, creativity and ingenuity. He is criminally underrated.
06:46 What's funny is that the next video was 'Pike #65 - 'Hold Me Forever', possibly one of Buckethead's best Pikes ever. 30 minutes of guitar wizardry and something way too many people will never even know exists. Buckethead's music has seriously changed the way I look at music and appreciate it. It's always interesting to see people listen to him for the first time :)
I am 50+ and stumbled on to buckethead about a year ago. 👍
Nothing else is music to me anymore.
I got an autographed copy of that Pike, will always cherish it.
HIS TOP 3 pikes !!! Love that one
@@BuckI2Bdad Best since Hendrix! And Hendrix would say better, as he was always gracious, and loved great guitar players. Buckethead is a true "once in 50 years" type of player. I first heard him on the "Praxis" album w/Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, and Brain(who often played with Bucket, great drummer!). I'm 52, seen/heard many, most. ALL HAIL BUCKETHEAD!
@@docshaddymd oh we need the story behind that
Research buckethead, it will change your life.
True story!!
Listening with crappy headphones (only in one ear) and wishing he'd add vocals.. This truly is blasphemous. What a shitty reaction to such a great song.
Pathetic... and they want money. Try not yawning. McDonalds is always hiring. Worst reactions ever.
At least they recognized it was good 🙄
@@bigm8785 They're purely jumping on the 'Soothsayer reaction' bandwagon that everyone seems to. They had no real appreciation for Buckethead. I mean, look at her at the end, she couldn't get out of there quick enough.
Soothsayer, not Soothslayer. Just sayin'
yeah sooth sayer is kind of an old term
Man soothsayer is awesome, but these reactions suck!
why add vocals and ruin the song?
Buckethead's melodies ARE the lyrics... they stir emotion in me like no lyrics could ever do. Too many people are conditioned to needing vocals and forget to appreciate their absence.
The larger audience prefers songs to sing to. That is why solo guitarists are fading away or are less popular than the 80's and 90's
Buckethead spills emotions with his fingers. Such a talented guitar player and a great human being
I really don't understand why people always need vocals. Mainstream-people should stay with their mainstream-music. There are a lot of vocals.
By not adding lyrics, buckethead allows us to let the music be tailored to our own feelings and perceptions. Lyrics just distort that by conveying the specific message the artist has. Buckethead is a genius in that he lets his music mean something special and unique to him but also allows it to be special and unique to each of us.
These people don’t deserve to listen to this masterpiece.
This is one of the most inspirational pieces of music ever written and all they do is ask where the vocals are, seeing that they react to music maybe you should know that not all music has to have vocals and many songs from instrumental artists such as buckethead would not fit human vocals as the guitar is speaking.
It’s just really sad how uncultured they are and how as a 14 year old I totally understand different music genres
I think that’s enough said and hope my real buckethead fans have a great day 🎸
People these days and vocals man. Growing up I always loved instrumental music. Whether it was in Star Wars, from Joe Satriani, or by the legends like Beethoven and Bach. Guitar enthralled me the most, and I found myself more interested in how instruments are used rather than singing. I've never gotten why most people need vocals in their music. I can't even explain my rage for how many times I've heard kids and adults alike refer to instruments as "background music". IT'S MUSIC. The fact that instruments (and music overall) can create moods, tones, and emotions purely through sound (no words) is a testament to the superficiality of vocals in music. The guitar in this song functions as the deliverer of the melody, and having singing would take away from that. Our society is becoming more and more musically illterate, and that is extremely sad.
Try Japanese koto music and Chinese guzheng and Indian sitar music....it will mesmourise u
A: It's Soothsayer not Soothslayer
B: He is a solo act (has played for GNR for a short time and collaborated with a few artists occasionally)
C: Have you never heard of an instrumental?? Not every song has to have lyrics for it to be a song. As long as the actual music part of it is engaging and emotionally driven on its own does it really need vocals. It doesn't add anything at that point.
Buckethead with vocals/his actual band - Deli Creeps
Their most 'normal song' is a song called "Time"
Buckethead sings through his guitar. check out pikes(what he calls albums) 65 and 150, and a track called Aunt Suzie.
65
Vocals??? Jesus Christ what am i watching? Neither of you deserve to hear another song from this genius.
Buckethead is super talented... but as you can tell a bit odd. There was a quote about him from Ozzy Ozbourne that he wanted to bring him on tour...but said nope, hes too weird after he wouldnt tell him his name, and generally acting weird. He also did a brief stint as guitarist for Guns N Roses.. But typically its just him instrumental..has some crazy stuff.
I would check out the song Nottingham Lace.. very good.
"I tried out that Buckethead guy. I met with him and asked him to work with me but only if he got rid of the f*cking bucket. So I came back a bit later and he's wearing this green f*cking Martian's-hat thing. I said, 'Look, just be yourself!' He told me his name was Brian, so I said that's what I'd call him. He says, 'No one calls me Brian except my mother.' So Isaid, 'Pretend I'm your mum then!' I haven't even got out of the room and I'm already playing f*cking mind games with the guy. What happens if one day he's gone and there's a note saying, 'I've been beamed up?' [Laughs] Don't get me wrong, he's a great player. He plays like a motherf*cker!"
- Ozzy Osbourne (Revolver Interview, January 5, 2005)
Buckethead is something alright. I think it's obvious that working with him can be difficult, even though he's done a lot of collaborations. I remember watching another interview with someone who was very close with Buckethead, and he was telling a story about when he was with GnR, he would agree to go to practice on Friday and then Friday comes around and he is MIA. No one would know where he was, and instead of being at a GnR jam session, he would be on the opposite side of the world doing his own thing. The "rock-star life" is probably just isn't his thing. He just wants to do his own thing, which quite frankly, he has reached god-level status.
Watched many of his live shows, and in most of them he gives away stuff and even lets the audience play his guitar, etc. He seems very down-to-earth, and a very genuine and kind.
And he said he wouldn't lose the bucket.
Anyone considering donating to this channel check out their scam reaction where someone donated money for a Matrix Reloaded - Highway Chase scene and they reacted to only a quarter of it, asking for more money to actually react to the scene already paid for by the donator
When she said she was digging the “beat” of this I lost hope
All looks no brains
Hold Me Forever Pike #65 - Buckethead!
NO VOCALS NEEDED
This man and what he can do with a guitar. HE INVENTED THIS SONG. LET THAT SINK IN. ALL THOSE CHORDS. NOTES. RIFFS. ALL FROM THAT KFC BUCKET NOGGIN
Im literally showing love to all the channels who have reacted to "soothsayer"....
Ive never been so offended ,specially when she said "bye" and threw her earphone out 😒
Adding vocals to this is like taking away vocals to singers....WTF is the point
Jesus Christ I hate these two. They are the worst reaction channel in CZcams. They clearly just do it for the money
She really doesn't know what real talent is that bucket head got she is nowhere near to him and never will be in ten thousand years. So annoying I got after she threw the earphones
The band is The Bucketheads and Buckethead is actually Paul Gilbert.
Won't say how I can confirm but BH is not Paul Gilbert. Paul was one of his teachers though, as was Pebber Brown and a few others in the L.A. area and he was a collector of Shawn Lane VHS lessons.
Vocals would just cover the beautiful sound of Bucketheads guitar. I play Buckethead for my friends and most can’t hear the talent that I hear. I am addicted to his music, it’s soooo good.
Yeah add some vocals, some backup dancers, some dude with a six pack, bling, autotune... NOT!!
It is an infinity piece bucket.
It does not need vocals. More emotion was portrayed through that guitar than almost any vocalist could ever sing.
I remember back when I first saw this I was crying. Also I recommend the following songs by him: whitewash, nottingham lace, siege engine, and jordan.
He wears the bucket cause he grew up on a chicken farm and is against the brutal slaughter of chickens haha. Love the dude a lot.
Buckethead often does collaborations with well-known singers for some of his songs, but the vast majority of the stuff he does is instrumental, so odds are if you find something else by him online it probably won't have vocals. I've tended to think of Buckethead as a more eccentric and Avant-garde version of Steve Vai, whose work you may also want to check out if you like this.
Buckethead was a member of Guns n Roses for awhile after Slash left the band.
I regret watching this reaction... Had to say it out loud just like ur opinion bruhhhh...
Buckethead needs no introduction nor vocals because his guitar does all the epic, beautiful work. ☺ Plus, he never wants to be a part of any mainstream band let alone be involved with major labels regarding his time spent playing for Guns n' Roses from 2000 to '04. Fan interactions, genuine love and an overall fun experience is all he strives for with his music. Speaking of which, his catalog is gigantic and ranges from bluesy stuff to straight up metal and just about any other genre in between. He is truly a mastermind of instrumental jams.
Probably the greatest bedroom producer of all time, as most of his work is done at home with very little equipment... And easily one of the top guitarists in recorded history. Yet to see a case against it.
Buckethead has been around for a while. And he just keeps getting better.
6:22 she is yahning
Y'all should walk away, u can't handle Buckethead. you don't want to fall down that rabbit hole.
Vocals ? Hell no !
Buckethead is the BEST!!!❤💕❤
He's a genius!
You never know what he will do even with the next 30 seconds
He was in Guns and Roses for 4 year's.
killed it
hey Ashtyn you're about sexy as hell
Buckethead has been playing over 40 years, plays close to 2 hours every night. Rest assured his hands aren’t tired.
Could the Cat react with you guys in your videos =).
One of the best guitarist to be honest. Badass
Wish I could donate I want to see you react to pantera domanation live in Moscow 91.
Are you stupid??
If anyone wants to know what Buckethead sounds like singing theres 1 song where hes singing. Not many realize BH does many voices for characters in his songs anyway
They don't get it, what a god damn shame
No imagination doesn't go well with this art.
Brian Carroll aka Buckethead has been wearing mask & bucket for over 30 years.....he knows the tricks to hydrated.
Look up on You Tube Buckethead--Made My Day. He lets a member of the audience come on stage and play this song. The guy does really good!
Buckethead > Slash
This song speaks for its self. Doesn’t not need vocals at all..
The mars volta
Ilyena
shes right about one thing forsure, its baffling how a guitar came to be. especially an electric. when you really think about it instruments in general are amazing just for the simple fact that they exist
Bucket head is one of the GOAT.
Tender Surrender by Steve Vai!
Aunt Suzie
DUUUHHHHH
Please React to uncensored andy Kaufman and jerry lawler on Letterman !!
He's on a whole other level!!
Soon as you said if not the best. He went in
He has the KFC bucket because he was born in a farm and his bests""friends" was the chicken's (that's what everyone says) and one day he was on KFC and ordered a bucket with chicken and then he tried the bucket and he said to the mirror "this is buckethead" an the mask it's from "Halloween 3"(I think it is Michael Myers)and he have play with guns and Rose's (2000-2004)I know more dont wanna write anymore 👌😁
Glad you stayed awake
She yawns wtf
This man plays with his Soul at his Fingertips .🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Why am I here.
tits.
The hosts are so riveting. Yawning and all. Hope they have a day job. Worst ever...and they want doations...please
Sorry it's Buckethead--Best day ever.
This man plays with his SOUL at his Finger Tips 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
If you listen to the record version, you'll see how far off script he went. I think the "most emotional version" title is because he wasn't remembering how the song went, he rewrote it right there in front of us, from the heart.
"Now, if only they had Jay-Z to rap to it along with a DJ scratcher, then I maybe might be actually interested in this..."
No vocals, but he has played with other bands...Listen to his song Final War or Hold Me Forever..really any of his material!! Thanks Buclethead!
I yawned at a Wham concert one time
At least their listening to buckethead the best around today unsurpassed talent soulful emotive fast slow with many music styles
Buckethead no es humano es un robot es una maquina por eso tampoco se saca la maecara , es la octava maravilla del mundo

Na buckethead np vocals needed. The guitar is the vocals
Why she always tired
She smokes bud
it's like she just couldn't stand witnessing one of the best live performance from the greastest guitarist of all time. Damn, I wouldn't like to have that girl in my bed holy shit, 0 emotion in her eyes
React to "everything great about" channel it's an analysis channel of movies. For example everything great about Batman v superman

React to slash godfather theme
Lyrics would take away from these songs lol
vocals over guitar solos hell no
Vocals would take away from his particular style. He is a solo instrumentalist and changing that would not be beneficial for him or for his fans.
Damn yall don't know good music so you...
Damn I came here for the positive vibes but you guys ruined it
