Alenia C-27J Spartan - Royal Moroccan Air Force - Take Off at Airport Bern-Belp

Several cargo aircrafts of Royal Moroccan Air Force visited the Airport Bern-Belp. Among them was the Alenia C-27J Spartan (CN-AMN). The military transport aircraft is equipped with two Rolls-Royce AE2100-D2A turboprop engines, each driving a 6-bladed propeller. The great turboprop sound during take off makes the heart of any plane enthusiast beat faster. Climb out towards the Swiss Alps.
Die Royal Moroccan Air Force besuchte das Belpmoos gleich mit mehreren Armee-Transportflugzeugen. Darunter war auch eine Alenia C-27J Spartan. Der militärische Mehrzwecktransporter ist mit zwei Rolls-Royce AE2100-D2A Turboprop Triebwerken ausgestattet, die je einen sechsblättrigen Propeller antreiben. Der wunderschöne Turboprop Sound während des Starts war fantastisch!

The Sahara Desert Sand livery with Dove Grey unders looks really good. The Spartan won a lot of hearts here in Australia during the bushfires when Air Force Spartan were able to fly rescue missions into small communities by using roads and other improvised landing and take off places. Small enough to get into small places, yet big enough to be really useful. Great and very versatile aircraft.

marvellous shot and sound - could really see the power of those engines when the pilot released the brakes and the aircraft almost seemed to spring forward - not seen one of those aeroplanes before - many thanks for the aircraft info on the video description

I recon the RNZAF needs the C-27J Spartan as well as the A400M
The C17 is just useless for New Zealand and it can not land on some runways in the Pacific Islands . So why bother with the C-17 when you have two planes which probably equal the C-17 but don't cost an arm and a leg to run .

Because Morocco's a north African country and the C-27J's mostly operate on the desert part of the country for military exercises and military operations, that's why they have the desert camo paint.

The camouflage painting depends on the geographical factors of each country. These are morrocans, and the moroccan landscape is mostly desertic
