Loved this band since they first came to be. Never saw them play live before, but me at 53 years old currently and with them here next month in Winnipeg I’ll finally get to. 🐟
Moved to Canada in the late 80's and this song had just been released. Instantly I fell in love with the song and the band. And now 35 years later, I'm 60 years old and this song brings back a ton of memories. Over the years, I got to know and appreciate numerous Canadian artists, such as Northern Pikes, Glass Tiger, Brian Adams, Alannah Myles, Barenaked Ladies, Rush etc. 80's is truly the golden era of music. CAN WE PLEASE BRING BACK THE 80'S?
Great harmonies ❤❤❤❤songs always catchy I remember driving thru the Okanagan listening to all the 90s coolio crap it was awesome Thank you for real music 😅fun while it lasted
And this one too like I just commented on the "Let's Pretend" page. I'd say I owe it to the Pikes for making me understand the meaning of the word astray 😅, sure as hell didn't learn that in grade 5 English.
The Northern Pikes were the first band I went to go see live. I liked the show, but it was a shame I was only sixteen at the time... I never felt I really 'got' these songs until I was well into my twenties.
Super surprised that a song this great only has 85,000 views
Seen them in Cornwall Ontario this summer. Opened with this song. Sounded just like the album... great band. Love them ❤
Timeless Canadian classic. Thank you Pikes!
