The Dark Energy line is a player's cymbal. Beautiful, meticulously crafted instruments. If you take a close look at one of the crashes, you might find yourself asking "Holy crap...just how many steps am I looking at here?! Been drumming over 25 years and I can't even believe how much more involved I got in my own playing since adding just one to my setup.
I fully agree. Greetings Rob....from Vancouver. I trust things are good in Trawna.
I have the Mark 1 series of 22, 19, 16, 14's, & 10.
I actually use my 16 as a top hat and a now discontinued Sound Formula series 16 thin (from 30 years ago!) as a bottom hat. Absolutely slushy exquisiteness...my gawd, but with an as expected quiet 'chic'.
Keep up the great work!
@@Indoman_71 I love mix 'n matching. Current favourite is a 13" dark energy top and 505 medium bottom. Super silky!
Loving those Crashes... heck! loving the entire series!
You should make a Dark Energy China! haha!
Paiste rocks!
I know this is a cymbal demo, but that bass drum!
The sound of the whole set up is great
Beautiful sound, beautiful cymbals and fantastic drummer. Well done for Paiste and drummer, great!!!
These and the Twenty series are -for me- the most versatile and all around best sounding cymbals in Paiste line.
I hope someday to own a set of them...
Amazing playing and a fantastic sounding kit and cymbals. The snare is out of this world and the Dark Energys to me are the best Signature line that Paiste makes. Wonderful demo!
holy groove
Make a China of the series!!
This guy has perfect sticking among everything else! Really awesome and the cymbals sound great!
Those hats are amazing. Next purchase.
Not Quite for the Rock setting , But I do love the sound . Specially that 17' Crash .
Great cymbals. The flow in that playing, though! Beautiful...👍
Awesome drumming there!!
Xavi, Awesome playing man! Great Job!
great player
Wow, such an amazing sounding cymbals! I need to get me a few for my set!
Great Sound. Awesome Player...
The one dislike is a zildjian fan
Fabio Cacchioli I just got zildjian Ks and these paste are waaaay better
great playing !
Wow!
16" Crash is fantastic as well
Yeah, Great!!!
Make china pls!!! And small one too (12 and 14") :D.
burnin'...
They sound great! Once I started 2002's, Sigs, and 602's, I'll never buy a cymbal from a different cymbal co. The tone is just superior by far. I love the heavy sig hats, but would like to use a SE bottom w/em. Anyone know if the Dark SE is heavier than the heavy sig top?
Came for the cymbals, stayed for the snare
Oh man, I love the 22 ride here, (mk2) - I wonder which is the best 20 or 21" ride, the mk1 or 2? For general light music and jazz, a little latin, reggae and funk?
TheGurner1 the mark ii rides seem to have a less random and wavy overtone. more controlled sounding.
Xavi Reija, eres un fenómeno, aahhh y los platos suenan bién, jajajaja.
I wonder how these would do mixed with a couple of rudes
Wtf this drummer is crazy :D
That SNARE make me jump!
What snare is that? sounds freakin MINT!!!
YAMAHA MAPLE CUSTOM 14*6.5
Are most of the real fast rolls you are playing double-strokes? Thanks
Yes
I have a set of Dark Energy Hats but they don't look like the ones in this video... Are these set up upside down?
Well, are they Mk1 or Mk2?
+Amin Jiwa I own the Mk1 and it looks exactly like the ones here. Best pair of hats I've ever tried, superb.
@@AquaAnim There are no Mk2s.
They're upside-down.
Needs more cowbell
Who in the absolute hell gives this a thumbs down
The Zildjan product manager. Who else?!
@@SevanStick LOL!
SSWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Holy crap he can play...
Nice cymbals btw.
Great solo!👍 Lose the man bun!
