- Linda Carter was Wonder Woman, but the real Wonder Woman was Kitty O'Neil (Lynda's Stuntwoman). Here she is riding a Kawasaki KE175, from Wonder Woman 1975 TV series, season 2, episode "The Murderous Missile".
What Kitty O'Neil achieved in racing is astounding too. See more here eatsleepride.com/stories/wond...
Kitty O'Neil was an American stuntwomen and racer, later set land and water speed records and became the fastest woman in the world in 1976.

i liked how the bike sound changed from two stroke to four stroke as the clip went on.
Sound engineers, go figure, right ? Welp, I couldn't do their job.
@@roadking99jokerst60 Lol, i know it didn't matter to me at the time, i was glued to the set when this show came on!
Even to V twin 😅😅😅
leftoverporckhop9972 Wonder Woman's bike kinda sounded like Steve McQueen's bike from the Great Escape IMO.
A lot of this happened in the 70s sounds like a triumph or BSA 650.
Linda Carter will always be on the list of the most beautiful women that have ever graced this planet !
🥰
The way she hops of the bike at the end........😏
She's ok if you like a gorgeous face and a beautiful body
@@Mike-fu9hu Haa!
Hear hear.!
She is still gracing the planet at age 72.
One of the reasons I love Kawasaki's. And Linda Carter of course.
Without doubt the most realistic motorcycling scene in cinematic history, the driving scenes in “Bullit” have nothing on this 😂
The bit that really got me was when the missile just missed the bike. Even with todays film-making technology - it would be a real struggle to create such a dramatic visual effect........🙃😜
😂😂
She got lucky, the perfect jumps/ramps on just the perfect time. What a rider!
voir Charles Bronson dans thé mechanix en Husqvarna la course poursuite est encore plus longue
The only thing missing was the 7 hub caps falling off.
lol the rocket and the jeep
Most of this was filmed at good old Indian Dunes in Santa Clarita, CA. Parts of the video are from the old Shadow Glen motocross track that was there back in the day.
Gotta love that body hugging suit. ❤❤
To be clear he wheelies for no reason and falls off. Then trips over his own feet running away. 😂
One could argue that his adrenalin forced him to clutch up the wheelie and novices do this and fall off all the time. Also people running from cops trip over their own feet all the time. But lastly, DUDE ITS FANTASY TV. You are critiquing realism, when 90% of the entire show is fantasy. Nobody is expecting realism watching this show.
This show was really ahead of its time. Now 50 years later, Hollywood is filled with men that are villians and getting caught by being incompetent.
George wanted her to catch him, wouldn't YOU? 😛
They did a moto duel and he lost
Aaaaaah, 1980s tv. You never needed a reason lol
Excluding the silly close-ups, this is REALLY well shot and edited. Badass.
that and the random missile that came out of nowhere for no real reason
Even the 4 stroke sound effects? Lol
@@kingofallworlds that´s why it´s soooo good🤣🤣
and 50 years later, those women shorts/swimsuits are back in style!
These fast-forward film shots add such realism
I saw a flying crayon 🖍 stick in the ground just missed her to! That was a close one! It looked like " lipstick Red"!
😂… I saw an orange Nerf Vortex rocket just miss her and stick in the ground. Thank God it didn’t explode.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I'm glad you said that. I thought I had an acid flashback.
@@jamesrobertson9597 it tripped me out to.
I had this same exact bike and color in 1981. Rode it for years, every day, to work and high school, on the rail road tracks. My school had a parking area for dirt bikes. Those were the days !!
ISSO QUE É FELICIDADE ... MOTOS E JUVENTUDE ...
Brought back memories, I used to have a KE175...
I'll bet it didn't sound like this one.
I had the brown version of the 1975 KE175 Kawasaki. Great bike for a teenager in a small town in northern Michigan.
Me too. Riding that bike in the fields and the dirt made it real easy to start riding on the street when I got a 500, then 650 and then 750.
Lynda Carter is the most beautiful woman of all-time, in my book
Spent a good part of my teen years (‘72-‘82) racing and riding at Indian Dunes. Even got to watch the General Lee Jump the Santa Clara river. They were always filming movies and tv shows there.
Good Times! 😃
Wonder Woman’s beauty and her gorgeous figure had many of us young blokes (self included) bouncing off the walls back in the day.
What a stunner !!!!!😅
Those KE's were brilliant little bikes.
Yep, and from the 'Golden Age' of motorcycling no less!
@@klowen7778 Yup. I really miss those days.
I don't know who Linda Carter's stunt double was, but she matched her figure very well, and certainly knows how to ride a bike.
Poster's description says Kitty O'Neil. Wikipedia says: Kitty Linn O'Neil (March 24, 1946 - November 2, 2018) was an American stuntwoman and auto-racer, often called "the fastest woman in the world" for her various speed records. Her women's absolute land speed record stood until 2019.
@@DavidBostock-ti2fv INTERESSANTE ...
nice ! ty
Her Ke-175 sounds like a Harley dirt track racer. LOL! Hollywierd sound tracks..
Yeah. They made his sound like a weed whip and her's like a hog.😆 I have a 1976 175KE. Bought it 20 years ago and it still fires up on one kick. Their suspension sucks, but the motors are good.
Very common thing in movies to make 2-stroke bikes sound like 4-stroke and it makes me mad every time
This is so friggin' funny!
Let the good times roll! 🤟😎💚
Get away and your going to say....
My goodness, Lynda Carter is truly a “picture of beauty!” She had the “beauty,” and the “physique.” She is still beautiful!
The way she just casually drives out of the back of a pickup
What about it? You didn't even make a sentence there.
This is how adult educational movies start!
It's flashier before the transformation.
The best part about 70's TV like this is how everything looked and sounded so realistic! 🤣😂🤣
😆
I had a '77, it was my first motorbike and I rode it on jumps like that too!
Love the way she seems to be bouncing up and down, not on the bike but in the studio 😋 wonderful wonder woman
she makes it looks soooo easy
Uncle Amos said..that Chit was crazy!
Wow i had the slightly later ke 175 my mate had this model in 77/78 ( in the uk) so the time is right for the bike . Great bike
The KE started in 76 (model year) I believe, so this must have been a very early KE. Handsome bike! I have a '74 F7.
Ahh, the good old days...
After all that he dumps it on a wheelie? Then runs away! Hahah. Had to end the scene somehow.
Then just randomly falls down in the grass
@@mr.m325 Then falls down like he was running in high heels.
@@richieoftampa994 no lie .....i would wear heels and fall for Linda Carter, too
@@mr.m325 I wouldn't be running away from that beautiful woman.
I pulled the baffles out of mine. I was a motorcycle paperboy in the 70’s😊
Screw the bikes, that outfit must have been sewn on. It is....amazing! And whoever filled that suit was a damn good rider.
I don’t think the rider was a 5’9” woman
@@edl617 I don't think so either. She was 5'8".
Lee Majors))
I believe that the stunt rider was Debbie Smith. She was an absolutely top rate trials rider who later had a successful career in Hollywood performing stunts with bikes and cars in many big movies .
@@philhawley1219 That would make sense. Thanks for letting us know. She was a fantastic rider, no doubt.
How well she rides...
Mommy is drivin the motorbike 🥳
Missiles AND dirt bikes? Wow!
Im reasonably sure this is Indian Dunes CA. Very cool video!!
i didn't watch wonder woman when I was a kid. If I saw this, then, I would have gone ape shit. good stuff.
Linda looks pretty good at 72. Eats her Wheaties and stays in shape for sure.
Video poster's description says Kitty O'Neil was Wonder Woman rider.
Damn, that big pink missle sure was scary.....😅
they always are
LINDA CARTER 4 EVER!!! KITTY ERA LOUCA! ACELERAVA TUDO!
Hahahaha...!!!
Cool video...
( I started in '75 on 50cc.
NO rules for a helmet
in these days...)
Spinning around and changing new outfits is the one super power ever girl wants.. lol
Apparently, they used at least 2 types of motorcycles for Wonder Woman's personal ride on the TV series.
The other one that's been ID'd is a Yamaha IT 175 Enduro.
(Honestly, with the vehicles that appear on command she's more like a magical girl than a superhero! Getting Cutie Honey vibes here.)
I honestly don't know much about motorcycles.
I wonder if any of these "Wonder motorcycles" still exist today?
The Fonz's and the Batcycle still exist.
Kawasaki KE 175 my neighbour had one and I had a Suzuki TS 185.
I'm sure this episode put some green bikes under some Christmas trees that year.
What I am amazed is...she jumps onto the motorcycle that is tied down to the truck and just takes off
Eine schöne naive Zeit ❤
nothin rides like a kawi!
WOW! Super technique!
Back in the day seeing was believing!
wonder woman on a kawasaki for the win 👍
"Wonder Woman on a Kawasaki" is the new "Christ on a crutch!"
I owned a 1974 version of her bike ;-)
No way! Do you have pictures you an share on eatsleepride.com ?? You can post 'em pretty easy
Cool!
Love the Ren and stimpy stuponitron helmet.
Anybody notice? Sound studios purposely misdub the engine sounds to drive you nuts
All my mates had these bikes in the early 80s. What a great bike it was, too. A little heavy for some of those jumps?
George: "It was all perfect, everything planned step by step, and you had to show up!" WonderWoman: "Well, there are just some things you can't count on. Com'on George." 🤣🤣🤣
She can show up at my place in that purple outfit anytime she likes . . .
And I would’ve gotten away with it if it wasn’t for you meddling kids!
Oh, wrong show. 🧐
Ha, ha, she even makes the ke sound like a 4 stroke😅
Then a 50cc 2 stroke moped, possibly even a little chainsaw, then back to 4 stroke again.
Eso si que eran películas cómicas 😅😅😅
I gotta wonder if the gal stunt person was credited .
Some times it sounds like a two stroke then other times a four stroke ...must be a three stroke
Good one!!!
thats her riding gear?
Nice one.
Awesome
That rocket 🚀 attack looked a bit sketchy. We get those in Grimsby.
It's amazing that television survived, based on the the previous quality. But more importantly, how TF did books lose to this ffs.....
great buds
She even dodged an Iskander missile.
So very realistic
This is how I ride my ke100
They were streets ahead of the DT 125 or 175
❤️❤️❤️
So, who was the stunt woman?
Not a speck of mud on her😂😂😂
Bud Elkins in spandex
Probably Jannie Epper.
😊😊great
That’s a 1978 Kawasaki KE 175
Nice how the director kept the audio focused on the engine -- you can really hear it. Check out the story and more images here eatsleepride.com/stories/wonder_woman_goes_off-road_on_her_kawasaki_ke175_motorcycle_-412991
Where did the helmet come from? Let alone the one piece soon.
One piece suit
She was always wearing the helmet and goggles, they were just invisible before she spun around and activated them. It’s the same technology that was used on her invisible jet…
興味本位で視聴したら、きっちり漢KAWASAKIで最高だった
Who actually did the riding?
On the plus side, George got to ride two-up with Lynda Carter!
massive plus+++++ side!😂
I wish I could do a spin and have all my riding gear on 😒
Как же просто и незатейливо тогда снимали. Пластиковая ракета ....😂
Wonder Woman sending it hard, and almost goin over the bars
Looks like the stunt double was Jeannie Epper, considered the greatest stunt woman of all time.
I suspect the cameraman got hit on one of the jumps.
Looks like she had a promising motocross future 😛😛😛😛🇦🇺
We were easily amused back then
And what bike was he on, it looks like a Yamaha
Vault Girl chasing ItsAGundam
Take that, Disney.
No CGI good old "stunt woman/man work"!
It would have even been better if the motorcycle had the same tech as her jet. 😂
Was that some sort of mobile phone on the front of his helmet?
