    Everyone!!!! Please make sure that whatever you're operating, matches the voltage that the plug is pumping out. You can only go over or under by 1 volt. I wouldn't pass that.
    You all saw how his little motor was speeding up. Thats because the motor needed less power.
    It would have caught fire if he left it on.

    • @hampoon
      @hampoon Před 2 lety

      Lol it wouldn't catch fire but the brushes would get burned up and the motor would be dead. You could fry small electronics with this though.

    A few thoughts. You want to be careful of voltage and mili-amps. You can blow up the motor or start a small electrical fire. Somethings can tollerate a little more than designed . That motor is going ham probably because its more amperage than its used to.
    I understand why you are using the term battery here but its just converting the current and down stepping it.
    For anyone curious the other 2 wires int he USB are Data + and Data -. So you can also use a cable like that to pull things off a thumb drive, to say, a phone. Which is a project that lead me to finding this.

      Hello chris, i have a question. I have two different 2 way wires. One is with black & red and the other is brown & blue. How can i connect this wires? What color is for which. It is for an aquarium light which has the brown and blue wire. I cut it so that i can put the dimmer/timer in between the source and the lamp. The dimmer/timer has red and black wires. Thanks in advance😊

    Thank you! I recently bought a soldering iron because I thought I could do some cool stuff with it and I wasn’t sure if my theories on how to do it were correct... I’m pretty young and like to do this kind of stuff and right now I want to connect a motor to a USB output so if the motor spins, you can charge your phone, etc.. I then want to connect the motor to my bike so when I go biking I can charge my powerbank... Thank you for your help

There is a wall with wires that are for a wall socket but the socket isn't there. Could you connect the wall wires directly to the usb wires to get it to work? Thank you.

    ⚠️🚫🛑☢CAUTION!!! USB wires are for low voltage electronics ONLY!!!
    like a phone, small 5volt fan, LED lights and bluetooth speakers, etc.
    So its best to plug the other side into a USB socket/outlet. Not the square charging plug converter thing that he showed.
