Its sucks the way it happened and that Ren suffered the way he did but getting sick and parting ways with Sony has given us the Ren we have today. I have no doubt he would still be an awesome artist but not what we have today.

I hope it doesn't keep getting bumped! This is the first Em album I've been this excited for in a long time!

Like anything we have to out in the work to understand our pain. But when we do. We're really stronger than what we think. We find out and we push through it!!! We have to💪🙏💙. I watched a Ren interview where he described a time when he was suddenly overcome with pain while in the kitchen and fell to the floor in agony. It was so bad he disassociated & had a mental break where he became something/someone else for weeks. It was a hard interview to watch, he still lives that memory.

For me, the _really_ bad days, sometimes, are actually the good ones. When I find myself asking "Is it _really_ that bad?" What if I'm just a wimp? What if another person would take it on and just shrug and be like, "This? This is what you're whining about all the time?" I know that's utterly, completely ridiculous. Most days. But the doubt is hard. The guilt for being a burden is hard. And damn do I feel what you said about others not being able to see it. The people close to me know at this point. On those bad good days when I doubt myself, _they_ remind me, "No, it really is that bad. You really are that disabled. You really _can't_ do these things." But strangers? Doctors? Nah. I just look like some dude. It's hard to get doctors to take me seriously. They just think I'm looking for drugs. Truth is, there are no drugs that really make a dent. Not really. Not enough to be worth the extra injury I inflict on myself while I can't feel ordinary pain from overexertion or whatever. Not enough to be worth the side-effects. Not enough to be worth being treated like a criminal by default just for hurting.

And after another week it just went away! Talk about relief after no sleep and 30 lbs lighter. Friends and family were worried about me.

I totally relate to what you are saying. I was in a very bad car accident 1998. Was driving a Chevy Celebrity and was hit head on by a log truck. My back , hip and femur were broke. I could not even put weight on my leg for over 2 years and have been in constant pain for26 years but man I don't let it get me down I am just thankful to be here and wallowing in pity is just not something I ever considered. Good luck brother and keep that faith it will bring you through.

Sorry to hear about the pain, but it does help us connect as humans suffering. I too have been diagnosed with multiple forms of autoimmune issues that have left me in constant pain for 20 years. I can count on one hand the days that were relatively pain free during that time. This song hit hard!
This song is in part about when Ren entered psychosis the “I clawed at the laminate” his mum found him like that, the line about “god tied a noose to his neck” he saw that. Not got far into the video yet, still watching, ut you get an insta-sub fellow TN sufferer. I've been dealing with Trigeminal Neuralgia for close to 20 years now. It got worse after the first 5 years and has impacted my life in a massive way, turned me into a recluse. I haven't had real human contact in over a decade. I have friends online who keep me sane. But yeah Trigeminal Neuralgia sucks so damn much. Weed helps :)

I’m 15 years into trying to figure it out. I’ve been diagnosed/undiagnosed so many times. But I think I’ve finally figured it out. Just too nervous to see a doctor about it. Tired of being gaslit. I feel your pain my friend. Pain is with me too. I’m raising two kids as well (son 14, daughter 12). Pretty sure for me it’s POTS, EDS, and MCAS. Going to try to get tested. Already diagnosed with Graves, Asthma, Endometriosis, Reynauds, IBS, Abdominal Migraines, Fibromyalgia, etc. I’ll be 33 this year. Pain is my teacher. My mother.
I have EDS & MCAS, diagnosed in 2021 at 37 years old but my diagnosis has led the way for my daughter (12) to get her POTS & EDS diagnoses in under a year. That’s why I fought until I found someone who would listen to hopefully save her from what I’ve gone through. Even now, her doctors listen to me more than my own. From one zebra to another, sending light and strength your way.

I have clusters. They are the worst pain humans can experience. I'm praying for you. They finally made a medication that breaks the cycle for me. It's called Emgality. It costs around $2000 per dose, but I'd give away everything I own for it during the clusters. Love your video man!

Ren was bitten by a tick and went for a loooooong time without a proper diagnosis for his Lyme disease. Instead, doctors told him it was in his head, put him on all kinds of meds he didn't need. He ended up with autoimmune disorders and his body basically eating itself. The pain and meds made him psychotic. He's now getting proper treatment but there's a lot of damage to undo. Ah, you knew that. Just got got to 9:50 ;)

I was interested in your sleep. i have an issue where if i get more than 3-4 hours of sleep at a time - i wake up with the most intense headaches the more i sleep the worse the headache. no naps and not procrastinating - if my eyes open i have to get up it is super annoying. Im about 12 years of only 3-4 hours of sleep without medication. So, that one i understand. Sorry about all you are going through, but this is the right community for it.
Bro I'm rhe same way. 3 to 4 hours I'm good. Anything over that I have the most intense headache. I can't sleep long. Because when I wake up I'm in pain all over. So since 2001 I been on 3 to 4 hours unless my body is wore out and I need to recharge.. I know exactly what you're talking about. Check this put Danielle. If I sleep 5 I'll be ok. 6 hours pain. I hate sleep now. Even 2 hours I'm functioning great. Just that 5 and over is horrible!!!

Not got far into the video yet, still watching, ut you get an insta-sub fellow TN sufferer. I've been dealing with Trigeminal Neuralgia for close to 20 years now. It got worse after the first 5 years and has impacted my life in a massive way, turned me into a recluse. I haven't had real human contact in over a decade. I have friends online who keep me sane.
But yeah Trigeminal Neuralgia sucks so damn much. Weed helps :)

I’m 15 years into trying to figure it out. I’ve been diagnosed/undiagnosed so many times. But I think I’ve finally figured it out. Just too nervous to see a doctor about it. Tired of being gaslit. I feel your pain my friend. Pain is with me too. I’m raising two kids as well (son 14, daughter 12). Pretty sure for me it’s POTS, EDS, and MCAS. Going to try to get tested. Already diagnosed with Graves, Asthma, Endometriosis, Reynauds, IBS, Abdominal Migraines, Fibromyalgia, etc. I’ll be 33 this year. Pain is my teacher. My mother.
I have EDS & MCAS, diagnosed in 2021 at 37 years old but my diagnosis has led the way for my daughter (12) to get her POTS & EDS diagnoses in under a year. That’s why I fought until I found someone who would listen to hopefully save her from what I’ve gone through. Even now, her doctors listen to me more than my own. From one zebra to another, sending light and strength your way.

I have clusters. They are the worst pain humans can experience. I'm praying for you. They finally made a medication that breaks the cycle for me. It's called Emgality. It costs around $2000 per dose, but I'd give away everything I own for it during the clusters. Love your video man!

Ren was bitten by a tick and went for a loooooong time without a proper diagnosis for his Lyme disease. Instead, doctors told him it was in his head, put him on all kinds of meds he didn't need. He ended up with autoimmune disorders and his body basically eating itself. The pain and meds made him psychotic. He's now getting proper treatment but there's a lot of damage to undo.

I was interested in your sleep. i have an issue where if i get more than 3-4 hours of sleep at a time - i wake up with the most intense headaches the more i sleep the worse the headache. no naps and not procrastinating - if my eyes open i have to get up it is super annoying. Im about 12 years of only 3-4 hours of sleep without medication. So, that one i understand. Sorry about all you are going through, but this is the right community for it.
Bro I'm rhe same way. 3 to 4 hours I'm good. Anything over that I have the most intense headache. I can't sleep long. Because when I wake up I'm in pain all over. So since 2001 I been on 3 to 4 hours unless my body is wore out and I need to recharge.. I know exactly what you're talking about.
Check this put Danielle. If I sleep 5 I'll be ok. 6 hours pain. I hate sleep now. Even 2 hours I'm functioning great. Just that 5 and over is horrible!!!
