What a useless report. You hardly see the plane's interior. Camera is on the vain reporter and host too much of the time. Missed opportunity to really show us the plane.

These planes are ancient and replacements are now on order. You can tell how old it is by looking at the flight engineer's desk in the cockpit - newer Boeings don't even have that.
Ancient? Well, yes and no. Every now and then they have a new one made, but they are still 747s. That is because 747s are the most reliable passenger jet aircrafts in the world. 757s are more fuel efficient but 747s handle much better in turbulence. And 747s, due to so many crashes during the 1970s, have been studied and examined more than any other aircraft ever made.

SaltyBro It’s more of a call sign, so if the president is onboard, yes it is called Air Force one. If the other plane with the Vice President on board ( identical to Air Force one ), is called Air Force two as the callsign.

Air Force One is an Iconic plane, but man she is old. They really should invest in getting a Newer 747. A lot of people question why they wouldn't get an A380, well that's because it's not American.

"Air Force One" is not an aircraft, it's a radio callsign. ANY Air Force aircraft that the president is on is Air Force One when then president is aboard, and ONLY when he's aboard. If he's on an Army aircraft it's Army One, if he's on a Navy aircraft it's Navy One, if he's on a Marine Corps aircraft it's Marine One, if he's on a Coast Guard aircraft it's Coast Guard One, and if he's on a civilian aircraft it's Executive One. And regarding the VC-25 (747) that people like to call Air Force One, there are (currently) TWO of them, so which one is "Air Force One"? Whichever one the president is on.

It’s just a throw back from years ago when people could smoke on airplanes. And it’s something guests can have as a souvenir. At the White House, the paper guest towels in the bathrooms have the presidential seal on them.

Old fashioned souvenir guide , given by iconic hotels, restaurants and gas stations.... Meanwhile, sub par and overpriced health care providers, income inequality, high rent plague this era. I think people have a better chance of financial success in the 1950s and 1960s, when the matches would serve as a fond reminder of quality American service, and friendly women, unlike now.
Having a plane for the American President makes sense, but can someone explain to me why American tax dollars pay for customized seat buckles, match boxes and M&M's?
We walked inside Reagan and Bush's Air Force One, and it was nothing like this. Amazing what they have done since the 90's.
