I am on smartwatch since 2010. Moto 360, Huawei, Sony SW3 . They had AOD, NFC, offline music, round and square implementations and of course Google Voice search. At 2012 I was running with SW3 paired with Jaybird headphone, and Apple users running with their iPhone strapped on their arms 😂 Apple was years behind and the first Watch flopped because of price and terrible performance. Since Watch 3 they fixed a lot of things but Google made steps backwards. It's really saddening to see so much work going in the trash. Today I am happy seeing Wear OS making come back. Weather, calendar, whatup, Gmail, Health, blood pressure, ecg, temperature, maps, stocks, YT music, Keep, assistant, Home, Shazam, Sofascore, Wikipedia. So many top level apps! And I have the freedom to pair my Galaxy Watch to any Android phone I want. Great days ahead if Samsung put their brain together and put more battery and not less on next model...
Gmail is nice for Google users, but I am really looking forward for the Assistent tile. This is the "central on your wrist" I always wanted. Old wear os had this function already 🤷🏼♂️
I have a problem in that Gboard works with some of my apps (WhatsApp, Outlook) bit not others (Gmail, Google Keep) where the screen just goes blank, anyone else aware of this?
Has anybody had problem with getting notifications from WhatsApp? My text messages and phone calls come through perfectly but when I'm on Bluetooth I get no WhatsApp notifications

Gmail installed but I am afraid google play service might reduce battery more .
Even whatsapp is consuming battery heavily. My battery usage of whatsapp in recent days after wear OS 4 update will sometimes be around 50% 😢

Yes that's an issue. Even if I try to set a reminder I get blank screen. So I switched to Samsung keyboard

Galaxy watch 4 get updates last and on top of that the lte version also gets updates last. You are in for a looooong wait
