@@julieincornwall8786, well, do they enjoy punishing the sinners? Because if so, it's not Hell for the demons, in the sense of suffering, now is it? And hell, if your vice is lust, what if chains and whips excite you? Hell wouldn't have much to offer then. XD
In Biblical Lore, Demons don't rule hell whatsoever because Hell is supposed to be their punishment. They're more on parole until judgement day with restrictions.
Where people get their Biblical knowledge from is beyond me.
None of this is biblical - and the Bible has its own issues, left for another discussion.
As the narrator explains at the start of the video, this is the classification created by the German Peter Binsfeld, a Catholic bishop, in 1589. At this point, Europe was embroiled in the wars of religion, as Protestantism had already had its schism with the Catholic church. And, the witch hunts - anti-dissident and anti-Semitic at their core - were again in full swing. Germany and Austria, fyi, had been at the centre of the European witch hunts during the Medieval and Renaissance periods. An exaggerated number of Jewish writings, artifacts, and millions of people (mostly women, including many Jews) were destroyed during this time in Germany and Austria in the name of Catholic orthodoxy, and later, by Protestants as well.
So none of this has anything to do with a sense of irony - God's or otherwise. But, it has everything to do with the desire of authoritarians to haunt the dreams as well as the waking hours of those they controlled.

Fun fact about asmodeus: although related to lust, asmodeus still had a great respect for women. In generell, he is often described as humorous and friendly, and, what is the most surprising, had a great respect and deep understanding for the love of god. Marrying him to lilith is actually a briliant writing move.

When you realize that the Obey Me brothers are actually named by their real life counterparts. I watched this because I got bored but ended up finding out how the characters/brothers were named in the game and anime.
I thought that Lucifer was a king of hell.

@Gods Glory Yes, I know that Lucifer and Satan are the same person regarding religion. What I’m referencing in the post above is a video game that’s based on the 7 sins. The game has them as two separate people and Satan plays pranks on Lucifer. I’m sorry if there was any confusion in the post above.🙂
Also, not to be rude or anything but Jesus and God are not the same person. Jesus is God’s son. The Virgin Mary gave birth to him. This is shown in numerous artworks (Mainly in Renaissance paintings) and old texts. Although, they both could be the same person in different religions but I honestly don’t know. I was always taught that they were two different people. I’m not saying this to start any sort of argument or anything, I’m just stating what I have been taught. 🙂

According to "The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage" and other reading material I've read there's supposedly 4 crown princes of hell; Lucifer, Satan, Leviathan, and Belial. Below them are 8 dukes of hell which are Astaroth, Asmodi, Oriens, Ariton, Magoth, Beelzebub, Paymon, and Amaymon.
It also makes more sense for there to be only 4 crown princes as they're depicted as ruling the 4 corners of the earth (North, South, East, West).
Just my 2 cents.

The name “beelzebub” is actually slur name for lack of a better word towards King Ba’el. He was called the lord of flies as a way to make fun of him & his flowers. Basically saying flys are attracted dung. It’s not his proper name at all.
