Not a mechanic, but from what I've seen you have 2 options - A) with the engine off try pulling the log out and restarting. B) Lockout/tagout the whole machine and disconnect spark plug and tension on the blades. Then open it up and cleaer the jam.

How do you unjam a chipper if the wood is too big and causes it to stall? Back in the 60's, I saw an Asplundh get stalled by a large log.
