    Good explanation of the rg’s but it actually comes down to the shock length when running rg’s. For stock mounts the magic length is 660 open 410 closed. Any more and the stock mounts start to bind up and then you are needing to go an inversion bar. Axle wrap is only really an issue when you move both shocks to the rear of the diff. It can be a nightmare 🤦🏻‍♂️ keep it up 👌👌👍

      @HaydnKamp  Před 3 lety +1

      With the big canopy I don’t think I’d want much more down travel with stock front leaf location. I’d love to do the same to the n70 like I did with the ln and move the front mount forwards to reduce the angle of the leaves on full droop. Keep the leaf pack as tight as I can and run the retainers. Cheers man! Appreciate it🤘🏻

    hey mate at the moment I'm running standard length rear shackles and 300 kg leafs. if I run rg 300kg leafs and extended shackles will it raise the rear up even more?

    • @HaydnKamp
      @HaydnKamp  Před 3 lety

      Yeah it will, I run standard factory rg leaves with two added leaves for the extra weight of the canopy and it sits at around 2inch lift to match the front. I have reset the leaves and it did gain a small amount of lift from doing so as well.

  • @aussiebevo103
    @aussiebevo103 Před 3 lety +1

    Awesome video dude. Question though, how far from the springs eye did you go to? Or is it like 50cm from the centre pin? And to what ark did you go to? Or is it just a personal preference? As in do 1 leaf and use that as a “ go to “ for the rest?

    • @HaydnKamp
      @HaydnKamp  Před 3 lety +3

      Ive found it’s not much point resetting close to the eyes, only little gains to be made as you get closer.
      Personal preference for resetting. I’ve played around with a quite a few leaf packs and have a bit of a feeling how far to push them and what works. Mainly as long is it’s got more travel in the leaf then the shocks your going to see good results.
