He doesn't have to. He's the son of NAVER's founder. It's an empire. He doesn't need to struggle for fame to be able to put food on the table like other artists so he doesn't need promotions , he's just doing what he enjoys. But he also works as a producer which is also a passion of his that brings in very good money in YG. So fame and music shows are not his thing and he doesn't have to do them, he's not obligated so there is no comparison with other Artists here to begin with cuz he's not even on the same level. He earns money from producing for YG artists and his dream is not to be an idol or to dance and do variety TV. That's a whole different world.

same with here too. Yg barely makes any experimentation with Blackpink music, always original formula. They never do a "hit or miss" content. It's true what they say that Yg prioritizes quality over quantity. The decision process of the company may be slower than most companies but they do make sure when they put something out there it can be easily distinguished and easily attractive to new audiences.
