Absolute legend! Lost a phone for the first time ever and my partner thankfully had a spare handset, albeit with a broken screen. This came in clutch with repairing it myself! The one thing I would be wary of, for those who are follwing along, is how easy it is to destory the tiny dust cover on the earpiece. I compleely destoryed mine because it's so small and fragile, so I'll have to keep an eye out when cleaning it!
This was great to follow along to and worked perfectly! I purchased a spare screen for £32 and a had a quote for £165 to get it replaced. Saved myself a lot of money before Christmas 😊

I have a small crack on screen glass of iphone 11. What if I dont repair it and if I do it from third party does the face id will stop?
You just have to buy a display from aliexpress but good in quality if you do it properly then the face id will just work many people do everything quickly and then the face id will break if you just relax and do your job it will be done in no time
Hello, I would like to know if the third party screen for iphone 11 has poor brightness and colour accuracy in comparison with the original one.. thnx
Aftermarket displays can yes have poorer quality materials than original, and an overall lower quality part. it's best to use genuine parts if possible
You can also get devices to transfer the true tone colour software across since 99% of lcd don't come with the programing for true tone
If I dont repair the cracked screen glass and the phone falls again, does the display will also get damaged?? Please reply
Why did you forget the reprogram and the water seal
What did you use too heat up the edges of the screen before prying it off?

@@thejoel8802 I haven't been able to find the time to try it. I did however read that there are some of the repair kits that are better than others. There is a video on CZcams that compares them.

I dropped my Iphone 11, it's exactly like this one you repaired in this video. I did not have the case on it because I lost the case, so when I dropped it on the hard floor (concrete) I was amazed there were no cracks but now my screen has white stripes on the screen and progressively the entire screen becomes brighter and brighter a few seconds after I open to use my phone, also there is a thick black line on side of the screen and the line obstructs being able to see anything on the left side of the phone. Does my Iphone 11 need a screen replacement like you did in this video?

@@las7138 I was going to replace the screen like he's doing in this video but I haven't had time to do it. If you are going to attempt a screen replacement, there is a video on CZcams where a guy tells which is the best screen for the screen replacement and or which kit has the best screen for screen replacement that comes with the tools etc. I can't remember the exact name of the video. You just have to search on CZcams about iphone 11 screen replacement comparisons or something like that.
