You should not do that to the rotor. In this way, you break alligment. Also with painting, you can paint all surface. After some brakes, pads will clear only that needed. Similar is for coated brake disks whyle is new. So, you made 2 mistakes in this video. 1. Paint the bolt contact surface. 2. Using abrasive on pads-contact surface.

Thanx for your suggestion. I have removed all the rusted surfaces using mild hydrochloric acid and tested it for nearly 11000 Kms. 👍

@@TechnoGunda - While all this works perfectly you can skip the mechanical part of this task, or at least postpone it. Until after the acid bath. Quite honestly you're adding an extra step which will not give you any real return.
Get it into the acid bath. Check result, if needed repeat process. Done! ;-) Cheers

@@TechnoGunda And who will believe that? Anybody who have seen a car brake before, will know that this is a bad joke. You never do this with your brake disks. There are some techniques to resurface brake disks, and THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. They need to be balanced, otherwise you gonna get massive vibrations when braking. What you have done is cannot be good. Why you just don't buy a new disk, they are not that expensive, or if you want to use these, then leave it to professionals to resurface them. This is just dangerous, drive with these rotors.

Why not give 150 rs and get it resurfaced with a lathe machine?
