- JL Switch Panel Install. On this video we install a switch panel kit from Lasfit Off-road. This kit comes with factory style switches that allow you to hook up aftermarket or upgraded locker's to inside the Jeep JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator in a clean and easy way. I'm excited to put these switch to use on the trail after we install our Rubicon rear axle with e-locker, this will match my Rubicon front axle and now I'll have a clean and easy way to activate the locker's. One of my favorite parts about this kit is the safety feature Lasfit added, making the locker's only work in 4 low is great peace of mind if you have other people driving your Jeep. It's also nice that this feature can be easily switched at anytime to standalone, which lets you use the lockers whenever you want! Nice install. Is there a way to use these locker switches to control my aftermarket ARB air compressor and air lockers instead of factory E-lockers?
Yeah you could, you would just have to wire up the locker switch wires to the Lasfit harness under the hood. I would imagine the other aux A/B could be utilized for the compressor on/off function. I’ve been happy with how mine looks and functions. Thanks for watching the video!
If you don't have front and rear lockers, can you use the switch button for front and rear lockers for different accessories like lights or air compressor or anything?
Yeah they should work just like the A and B Aux buttons, you would have to turn off the 4 low safety feature to make it work anytime. This company also make a Aux panel for the right side that’s similar to the Mopar switches. Let me know if you have any more questions, thanks for watching Jay!
So front and rear button lockers should both be off after I can hook any accessories and turn on this front and rear button for any accessories no problem and not gonna damage anything correct?
