In 2021 I just pulled my old 2011 3x z buzzz out and put it back in the bag. First time I threw it on the course in years and had two near aces. Instantly remembered why I fell in love with the buzzz. Because of Nate Doss. First tour disc I ever bought. I have a mcbuzzz in esp which is more os but that old 2011 flips up and flies so dang straight and far!! Hope you and yours are doing well these days.
I have honestly watched this video a dozen times. I love the way you play the game, Nate. It has helped me develop my own disc selection and play style so much.
Thanks for sharing! It was great meeting you today out on the course here in AZ. Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your day to share some insights with me. You are such a great ambassador for the sport and best of luck this season.
Dude real talk. I started watching you throw way back.... almost 10 years back i think. Back in the day when Eric was throwing Discraft. Watching you talk about the wonderful fliers that got me into this sport makes me want to convert back. I could throw a pretty nice Discraft bag up right now actually....
Nate, thank you. I have watched a lot of your videos and have used a few of your older recomondations and love the "Hawk" and Buzzz. I am still trying to find my go to discs to put in my bag and having a lot of fun doing it. I really like what you said about not forcing it. Thanks for all your advice.
nate you have a gift for explaining things. i look forward to seeing you an val at the gmc this year, although i throw innova im happy to hear vals moved on to greater things
I've been thinking about trying some discraft putters. Mostly been sticking with innova putters though. But I just love discraft. Got a bunch of surge's that I just bought and of course the buzz has been by far my favorite disc. Used it as a putter for awhile because it was just so perfect no matter how far I was
Nate, you're such a nice dude. I met you at maple hill. I just recently put one of those crystal flx trackers in my bag.....its insane how stable it is. I also always have a zone in the bag ✌
I only have 2/22 discs in my bag that are discraft, but one is a Ti buzzz, if you're looking for a reliable midrange for shorter approaches and turnovers off the tee, this is the disc.
Super interesting how simple the selections are. I'm shocked there's no OS approach/putter, like the Zone. I can't imagine playing without something like that, but hey if it's working, it's working!
I want the nate doss titanium buzzz back. I got that one since six years and it is so good that I kicked all of my putter out my bag because I don't need them anymore. Best flying midrange in the world. It's like 150$ on eBay but used 😅 Please Nate, make it happen
Nate, I've seen all you in the bag videos and kept up with you for years. My question is: some of your discs have been in your bag for years and years. How is it a disc you throw every day never breaks in that much and still holds stability 3-10 years later, irregardless of the plastic type. I feel like you must have practice bags full of discs and then have your tournament bag that has all your go to discs. I just don't see how it can be possible. please educate me. thanks !!
Pssst...you should rock more molds! It'll help spread the Discraft love. I get the simplify camp, though...I'm still on the other end. Switch the disc up, not my form to execute different shots. And line ups like the Buzzz SS - Buzzz - Buzzz OS make it so easy. One consistent motion, three results. Good luck to you and Val this season!
I like the simplicity. Discraft never jived with me for some reason except for my Buzz but I adopt the same approach as far as keeping the molds to a minimum...
Such an honest, and helpful, in the bag. What a great ambassador for our sport. Thanks Nate.

Nate Doss. World champion.

Such a good guy miss seeing you and Val on tour

Great in the bag! Love the detailed descriptions of each disc.

I'm not one to zero in on one company, but my best friend swears by the Stalker, and I have an XS that I absolutely love for FH

love the grip b-15 - perfect size bag . . .
Great ITB, eager to see if you're going to put out another for 2018. Good luck this season!
great vid nate, hope to see you an val at gmc this year, an cant wait to see vals in the bag
Discraft team needs more of this!!
Brandon Paulding yeah. Their media presence isn't super great. They'd benefit a lot from some of the junk that the other guys are doing right now.

Class act
Great advice!
Thanks!
I know it's not proper etiquette but if I ever find 1 of your discs I'll hold it hostage til I get a beer of yours :)
Great in the bag

Hey man we need Val's in the bag as well!!
Super interesting how simple the selections are. I'm shocked there's no OS approach/putter, like the Zone. I can't imagine playing without something like that, but hey if it's working, it's working!
Wasp are his overstable approach
I just got a first run z xl in sea foam
Where can i get a rubber blend challenger?
What weight do you use for your drivers?
I love my Nate Doss Ti Nuke. It's a winner (even though Nate himself no longer hucks it). 🙁
I want the nate doss titanium buzzz back. I got that one since six years and it is so good that I kicked all of my putter out my bag because I don't need them anymore. Best flying midrange in the world. It's like 150$ on eBay but used 😅

What happened to the Z Hawk bro?? I love that disc!!
Also I'm Curious what you think of the New Punisher.
You took your Hawk out? I thought that was going to be in your bag forever?
If my go to drivers are Destroyers and Orcs, what discraft discs should I try out that would be similar flight characteristics?
Steven Walker the nuke is similar to destroyers and I can't remember what is similar to a orc
Thanks Alex.
Steven Walker the rim is wide compared to a destroyer but the flight path is similar
Alex Miller I would say an avenger is similar to an orc
When Nate said rubber blend Challenger what plastic is that? Jawbreaker?
Pablo Huerta Jr. I was also curious about this. if assume jawbreaker

I like the simplicity. Discraft never jived with me for some reason except for my Buzz but I adopt the same approach as far as keeping the molds to a minimum...
Klimo, Shultz, Jenkins....that's the team right there
No fairway drivers - interesting.
I consider a Pred a fairway driver for sure.
I guess I'm so used to seeing Nate crush them, I don't think of them as a longer Firechicken. Good call, Patrick!
No offense Nate,,,,Cant watch this because of the horrible audio…..so many of these disc gold videos are ruined by inept camera/audio operators.
Mike Priddy - Sorry about the audio, Val and I did this pretty quick and just wanted to get something out for everyone. We will do better next time.
Mike Priddy I think you commented on the wrong video. The audio is fine on this one.
