It’s crazy what polishing does to the paint brings back to life 🤩 some people don’t understand that how would you guys explain that to new customers ? A video like that 🎥

Great video, based on how this vehicle looked before and how it came out, a one-step is really all it needed.
One must fully define paint enhancement vs paint correction.
In my opinion, when a paint has light swirls, scratches(light) and light haze this would call for an enhancement as the focus is to improve on the clarity just a bit, one will do up to 2-4 passes depending on pad, paint(hardness) and polish.
When the paint is heavily hazed and oxidized along with med to heavy scratches, may require additional steps as the focus would be to cut/level and polish which multiple passes are required for each stage and that is where one would test their, pad and product combo that will get the job done.
As the case with this video, it would appear that this was indeed a full paint correction that was completed in one step.
If one wants to practice their 2-step correction, I would go to the junkyard and get a good or two to work with.
    Keep the videos coming👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Great video man but I’m wondering what detail mistakes have you done and I’m also wondering what are some common detail mistakes that beginner detailers make when starting out. Love the content.

Don't go out and buy too many or duplicates of the same product by different brands. CZcams can be overwhelming with everyone's product recommendations.

Biggest common mistake is not knowing when to stop. In the area of polishing, you can burn through clear coat, it happens even with a DA polisher, over time you will know which makes have soft paints.

I agree. When it comes to products and tools, find what works for you. Don’t follow the hype. If you already have your prices and services set up, don’t let clients haggle and try to get a cheaper price. If they do that, they already don’t respect you or your business and are most likely going to complain or try to get more work out of you. The sooner you learn it, the better.

Technically, but the focus wasn’t the swirl marks at this point. If the focus was swirl marks, then we would’ve taken more time on each panel. The paint was in pretty bad condition (dings and chips). Client just wanted the paint to look better for his wife.
