Geoff is a brilliant arranger, in addition to all of his other musical qualities. I'm so glad that he finally did this after years of not wanting to, as it's fast become one of my favorites!

Truely a hauntingly beautiful song...I am in awe of how talented Geoff is. This cover has brought me to tears so many times. it hits so hard. Geoff brings such depth, sadness and a sort of resignation to this song. Great reaction.

Geoff is an extremely talented singer. He has a 5+ octave range. B0 and up really high.
Ain't No Sunshine, I See Fire, High and Dry, Jack's Lament, he goes really low and really high.
However anything you choose to watch on his channel you won't go wrong with.
    Besides those my other favorites....
Rains of Castemere. Ghost Riders In The Sky. Way Down.
His very first solo video is.... Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book.
In Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold and I See Fire he portrays 4 of the dwarves in the Hobbit movies.
In Ghost Riders he is the 4 ghost cowboys and the storyteller. And where Geoff's 4th clone got his name, Daryl.
In Rains of Castemere he is the 4 Lannister men in Game of Thrones.
Way Down he is 3 janitors and a supervisor. It's also where 3 of his 4 clones got their names... Jeff, Jeoph and Goff.
Folsom Prison Blues he is 4 prisoners in a real prison Geoff rented for the day.

You can't go wrong with any of Geoff's solo stuff! Try his cover of Take Me Home Country Road!

Geoff has been playing the piano since he was a kid; not sure which came first, the singing or the piano. He's played piano on a number of his solo videos: Sound of Silence, Till Then, Shenandoah, High and Dry, Blackbird, Jack's Lament; I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
Geoff almost always "clones" himself for his videos, at least vocally, and usually visually as well; it's not unusual to see 4 or 5 Geoff's on-screen at a time. He's done it so much that he's even given the clones names, mostly from the ways people misspell his name: Jeff, Goff, Jeoph...and Daryl (he said that version just looked like a Daryl).

He does a beautiful cover of High and Dry by Radiohead, where he plays piano as well and also goes incredibly high and low.

On average, he releases one full-length performance monthly. In addition he does shorts for his patreon members, and sometimes releases them to the rest of us.

Geoff is a baritone according to him but most famous for his bass singing. He did some marvelous releases during quarantine including favorites like Sixteen Tons. Lots to listen to from Geoff's channel.

Geoff has such a wide chest voice classifying him is impossible, really. I'd call him a bass just because of where he starts to lose resonance which would make anyone classified as a low bass in any other genre, but his baritone is gorgeous as well.

@@tiredangel39Geoff has said he is a baritone. I would not presume to call him wrong about his own voice.

@@gailseatonhumbert Sure, but I've also seen him be corrected more than once by professional bass singers. Furthermore, he almost always refers to himself as a low bass singer in the title of his covers. Ultimately, he is a contemporary singer, not a classical singer, who can fit anywhere in a male choir, but he can get to notes cleanly that are usually reserved for the most extreme basses and his notes in the low bass range (starting at c2) have a beautiful tonal quality.

@@tiredangel39I think arrogant of you to call Geoff wrong about his own voice.

If you've done Far Over Misty Mountains Cold (The Hobbit), make sure you follow it up with the incredible I See Fire (Desolation of Smaug). Jack's Lament is beautiful too. The first one I ever heard from him was Monster Mash - so cool. VoicePlay is knocking everyone's socks off these days what with Creep, Nothing Else Matters, In the Air Tonight, Hellfire, Sleeping in the Cold Below, Drunken Sailor.

Check Shenandoah ... it's one of Geoff's best!
