Holy cow🤯this was insanely good. Had to rewatch a bunch of times in slow mo to get it all and I still think I might need to come back to it again later. Thanks folks!! 🙌🏼
So basically, we can now just send this video and a referral link to our friends to convert them and make some money. Thanks for the video and Raycast!
Although I have visually watched all your videos and consider myself a professional Raycast user, I have found many helpful tips and tricks, including new extensions, settings and hidden features that I had no idea about, thanks again. 💖 (heart emoji added using Raycast's Emoji Picker, haha)
The links didn’t fit in the description, but there’s a marker for all commands that need extensions! A quick search in our store should help you find them all. But feel free to ask for any specific one here if you have trouble 😄
Hi Raycast Team. Love your app! Just upgraded to pro version 💪🏻 Could you PLEASE add the option to take the current windows position and size when creating a custom layout?! PLEASE :)
Rectangle does window management out of the box good enough with intuitive hotkeys and is free and easy to learn. Most "features" in the video are gimmicks for what you can do faster with mouse. Rest of the "features" is something for raycast itself. Question - why would I really need that?..
the weather is Weather Menu Bar if i’m not mistaken. the one that shows distance is 103 on the list 🏃♂️➡️ it’s called Strava Workouts if i’m not mistaken. made by Sam, one of our designers!
A thing that I liked in Alfred was the ability to move a selected document to a folder just by hitting a shortcut and search for the folder that I want to move the document to. Any perspective to create that? Thanks!
Wait, wait, wait.... did you say "custom window layouts"? OMG... can you please stop releasing AMAZING things every 5 minutes? I haven't enough time to check all of them!!
I thing that I liked in Alfred was the ability to search the App Store. I don't believe you can do that natively and I don't believe there's an extension for it. A shame! Love Raycast, regardless.
currently you can’t manually turn it off for all quick AI searches, but the command chooses when to use the web or not! what i did for the demo was choose GPT 3.5 as a model and ask a question i knew it’d have the answer to without having to search the web
that’s the hyper key, it represents all of the modifier keys pressed together. in Raycast settings you can configure that combination to show up as the little star!
And this is icing on a deliciously moist cake 😋 about 10 years ago I was frustrated and swore off apple computers, built a desktop and learned how to install Linux (arch, btw), but ended up using windows as my daily driver (because of, well, drivers) for the next 8 or so years. During that time I noticed the absence of some really subtle yet incredibly useful features built into the core of macOS (e.g. space bar on image/video files to quickly preview, full (confident) control over network traffic, and the fundamental difference in how text is rendered) These are just some of the small things I’m sure most users either don’t notice or know about, but I’m writing this bc these little things add up to an experience that fellow power users may be totally unaware of if they’ve never used the platform as a daily driver. Now, when Apple came out with their own silicone a couple years ago, I happened to be learning to code and made the switch back and boy is it better than ever

This is just ridiculous. You guys are killing it!
This video was a great idea. It got me thinking about a ton of stuff. I will now go back and figure out how to do it.
Great song choice for the demo! Love Raycast.

Where's the button to leave 101 likes? Awesome video! Would be nice in the future to see if features are out of the box or with a store
Check the description for that!
@@raycastapp Thanks!
Best app ever made!
This video lies! Says it's 8:08 minutes, but it took me half an hour because I kept pausing to test cool stuff out. Unacceptable!!
We love to see it! 😭

We might make one! But for the moment you can check the description for a full list 📝
How does the Take Notes from Anywhere work? I tried it and only can get the toggle floating notes to appear.
That’s exactly it 😄

I have used 38, but I knew about most of them.
And this video taught me 3 or 4 new ones!
Best app ever.

Is there a way to search within Apple Mail? I found an extension, but there is no search command for Mail. Same for the native Photos App.
Is there a master list on a doc or web page or notion file of everything you can do in Raycast?
Raycast is a godsend! Saves me from installing so many apps 🎉
any advice what use for 25. quick note?
Wait, wait, wait.... did you say "custom window layouts"? OMG... can you please stop releasing AMAZING things every 5 minutes? I haven't enough time to check all of them!!
And we won't stop! 🪟
@@raycastapp Can we please have a feed with an exhaustive list of new features every time one is released? 😭
Does it work like the window manager “Moom App” for Mac ?
Confetti being the most important feature of course 👀
Always 🎉
WOW! dont have much life to learn them all!!!!

Floating Notes 2.0 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
what was that star hotkey?!?!??!?!
It’s a setting! You can replace occurrences of the “hyper key” (control, option, command, shift) with that icon
Please add chapters to this video for each feature 😂
c’mon man 😅
I love it on my Mac but I can't use it on my Windows
Wait what. I really didn't know like 95 of these... What the hell 😂😂
