Makes no sense for the russians to defend out in the streets, they should be in the buildings, turning them into fortifications. Hiding in them until Germans are up close. Then they could shoot down on them and drop grenades, molotov cocktails, grenade bundles on the tanks. The open topped half tracks would have been particularly vulnerable. The Russians also left their flanks wide open, no anti tank barriers, no ditches or trenchs to hold up german vehicles, anti tank mines would have slowed up the German tanks and assault guns. Mines would have inflicted casualties and slowed the German advance, The Russians should have had more 45mm AT guns and AT rifles, their TO& E would have provided them more of those weapons even this early in the war before full mobilization. The troops are too steadfast, soldiers don't willingly charge into gunfire without laying down preliminary suppressive fire, rarely do troops fight to the last man. The AI engine could use some tweeking. Would like to see the animation here combined with the combat mission game engine. Would be the best of both worlds, a more realistic simulation combined with superior graphics.
This is with a.i and the a.i the gates of hell is limited and if this was a pvp match then most of the things you pointed out like using the tarren would have happened

There should be a self preservation mechanic per soldier so they aren't reloading with their head exposed let alone their entire upper body.
What sound mod are you using, audio mgs and explosions sound very nice

Well done. Amazing in how the Germans exercised close quarters combat and used their STuG to flank the Russian positions and take out the blocking forces. Very entertaining!!!

I rather not. The game already has lots of missions based on the eastern front. I will bring other battles of ww2 into it.

This was during operation Barbarossa. The Germans outnumbered the Soviets.

Лень писать на английском, чувак тут как-то всё однотипно, а именно оборонные позиции русских, у немцев практически ни одного подбитого танка, почему на первой линии только окопы и так далее. Надеюсь, мысль которую я до тебя донёс, тебе понятна.

А чем их подбирать у СССР до конца войны не было нормальных пт орудий
@@user-ki1fk8pu2e Я тут уже писал на вражеском, но повторюсь - основная претензия по расположению оборонительных позиций. Да, в тот период времени на харьковском направлении немцев было многократно больше и технически они были упакованы гораздо серьезнее, но советские солдаты НЕ БЫЛИ ТУПЫМИ, посмотрите на оборонительные позиции, как они расположены, это не оборона - это самоаннигиляция личного состава. Спросите самого распоследнего сержанта, он вам ответит, что фланги не прикрыты от слова совсем, мешки с песком на открытой площади - плохая идея, минометы на передке - это зашквар, их нужно было пристрелять по местам предполагаемого скопления живой силы. Танки в чистом поле против превосходящей танковой силы - это самоубийство, отсутствие мало-мальского минного заграждения, отсутствие перекрестного огня(взаимно прикрываемых позиций) в городских условиях - это глупость и некомпетентность. Солдаты напрочь и намеренно лишены возможности метать хотябы те же коктейли молотова по танкам, хотя в городских условиях это первейшее дело. Орудия, которые не пробивают танковую броню в лоб(советам это было уже хорошо известно к тому времени) выставлены специально так, чтобы не быть способными стрелять в борт. Я не понял, чем конкретно занимается этот парень(автор канала) и каких он взглядов, но подобное наплевательское отношение к тактическим моментам не красят его видео, смотреть настолько ГЛУПОЕ, НАИВНОЕ, БЕСХИТРОСТНОЕ видео - не вызывает никакого сопереживания и вовлеченности, в то время, как война - это в первую очередь война УМОВ. Даже когда исход понятен и победа, казалось бы, невозможна - все равно распорядись личным составом эффективно, нанеси максимальный урон и отведи бойцов, чтобы они могли сражаться еще, а не тупо сливай на заведомо и максимально проигрышных позициях. Уф...чет цепануло - да просто уже насточертело смотреть подобные поделки, где солдаты оловянные, а их офицеры вообще деревянные, не думающие ни о чем.
К слову о 45-мм орудиях, мой прадед на таком орудии дошел до Берлина - это нормальное, мобильное, эффективное железо, просто использовать надо уметь правильно.
@@Radminik не 45 говно, и снаряды к ней говно. А челик балуется редактором. Война УМОВ, да вот только у СССР не было их, и Гудериан ,,прикрыл,, фланг и СССР бежали, чем и закончилась оборона Харькова.
Сделай сам в редакторе бои или бой по обороне Харькова
