She is one of my neighbors and both her and her husband are the sweetest. One important thing most don’t know is that she opens her house to the public and does a toy drive for those in need. She has such a big heart full of love and compassion.

The craziest thing to me is that she only keeps them up 3 weeks a year. With all the work she puts into them and the joy she gets from it I would keep them up a little longer

Also, it is more than 3 weeks. She starts the first weekend in October so some are up 3 months. The complete display is only 3 weeks but then the husband said they pay no heating bills in December and January (????) so maybe the trees are up through January.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It’s actually like a Christmas Tree museum. Not only that, it is also very apparent that she has an artistic talent when it comes to decorating fake fur 🌲 trees 🌳, considering that each tree has very much a theme, which is different.
That's a good idea, but if the trees are an emotional memory or representation of love she has for her family, I can see her pull out a can of whip tail on someone for touching or rearranging one of her precious trees😂😂😂😂
This is not crazy. She is surrounded by what she loves and I imagine that when someone walks in it feels magical. And it’s temporary. Everyone should have a passion like this. It’s sweet.

I love that her daughter looks like a younger version of her. And when she said, "it has over 3,000 twinkle lights on it", and her mother corrects her whilst she's decorating another tree, "2,100". Then her daughter says, "and it takes 7 or 8 hours to put up", and mom again says "12 hours". They seem like a fun family to be friends with.

Her husband is incredibly patient and tolerant. His wife is lucky he accepts her joy of decorating!
My husband does the same. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him more Christmas decorations. He actually did get them.
Then the day after Christmas, if I'm working, I send him out with a list of everything he has to snag early in the morn next year.
My husband calls me "piggy". This year I found an inflatable Christmas pig at Tractor Supply. Was at work and told my husband to go get it. He got it.
A decoration I been seeing for two years but never got but had been harping over was a Christmas train that goes inside the tree in mid-air. My husband got it for me this year.
Then what I do with Christmas presents is turn them into bridges for the train to go under.
He seriously has spent more on Christmas decorations than presents. I have a climbing Santa that sings going up the tree. We have a whole bunch of food and treats. It's more of all that then actual presents.
Then we're a family who's never through with Christmas shopping because we save the main event a week before Christmas on a weekday just to go out and see all the decorated stores and people. We also "go out" just to look at Christmas lights too.
So I'm glad my husband likes doing Christmas, cause I'm big on Christmas.
Also, I do work in retail in customer service and yes, I still brave the crowds one week before Christmas as I like the idea of Christmas that much.
Then at work you're not allowed to wear any type of a pull over sweater as it's against company policy via your uniform, but you are allowed to wear Christmas sweaters one week before Christmas HOWEVER I exploited a loop hole and can wear a Christmas sweater all month and it does not go against company policy. It has to a "button down" Christmas sweater. Looking like a house jacket.
Had so many managers say I couldn't wear it and specified it wasn't a pull over sweater and unbuttoned it. No reply. They just grumbled.

I think it’s very beautiful & on some levels actually quite unique. The only problem I have with it however( & I am not trying to be rude) is it seems to bit out of balance. I mean I personally do not necessarily have a problem with have decorated Christmas Trees 🎄 all over the house 🏠, but having so many to the point to where her husband cannot park his car into garage is a bit absurd. I hope she will learn to find a happy medium with her ♥️ for Christmas Trees.

At first i did think it was a little odd, but I honestly think its kind of cute the way she cares a lot about her trees and the reasons why she has so many and the reason why shes so attached to them. I also think its super sweet that she still has her first tree :))

She is living my dream! I've always said if I had the money and the space this is exactly what my apartment would look like! Christmas trees and decorations are so cheerful and cozy and it really creates a magical energy full of warmth and love!
It made me sad when she mentioned her parents passed and her siblings had lost touch. That's how it was in my family too. My grandparents always loved Christmas and made sure the family got together, now everybody just does their own thing. We haven't got together for Christmas in many years and it just doesn't feel the same.

Her house is literally filled with Christmas trees, I’m surprised there’s still room to walk. It’s not that she “loves Christmas too much”, because that aspect is very wholesome, but it’s the fact that she thinks this is how a normal household is.
Imagine having to live with 168 Christmas trees in your house, all the way through December-January, 24/7. I’m sure you wouldn’t enjoy it very much. This might not be a problem for people living in massive mansions, because they actually have the room for it, but in a normal one-story house, it becomes a health hazard, especially with that small of a space. (It’s a health hazard because of all the radiation and heat emitting from the Christmas lights. They even said that they don’t need to use their heating unit because the Christmas lights do the job for it.)

I actually really love this! It’s only for the month of December remember. I mean I grew up in a household where my mother spent days putting all the stuff up and it really transformed our home into the museum of sorts! I have fun memories of that when we had trees in every room as well! I don’t see anything wrong with us at all, as long as they can afford to keep their electric bill paid, In the house doesn’t burn down from all the lights burning more power to them
