Thanks for watching!
I love the "pat on the chest" she gave him at the end... A couple that have so much in common, doing what they enjoy and the flame is still burning strong!!! Beautiful build Bob, you have many talents. Stay safe and enjoy the journey....
It's so nice to see a couple that gets along so well, even while living in an RV. Happiness is contagious.
Love this couples imagination. Building it themselves shows what you can do if you put your mind to it. My wife and I are retired and living full-time in our cargo trailer built by us. This talent and wisdom is what will save this country. Would love to meet these people down the road. God's peace to you all.
Impressing and inspiring! What an amazing combination of car hauler/tiny home, motorcycle and truck, and so much self made stuff - that calls for a full time nomadic life! Wish you guys all the best for your future!
And of course thanks a lot to Bob for letting us see this!
This guy is a genius! built his own batteries and uses a raspberry pi for the battery monitor? Really impressive stuff 👏 ❤️
Cool! I would not have thought about using that pop out bed set up. Also liked the toilet set up. Thanks Bob & Codi.
I like how Cody makes himself at home in all the Riggs.
They get an A plus for planning. Every item and cubic foot is planned out. No dead weight or wasted space.
Cool couple. They are both lucky to have one another. I’m impressed with their home made battery system/scissor bed.
Love how different this build is. 🙂
Mad skills for sure!
What a very nice set up. Looks so roomy!👍😊✌️🙏
Awesome build. I love how they didn’t find what they wanted and built their own.
I wonder if they went to Young Farts RV Parts in Alberta, such a great business run by two young brothers.
Thanks for sharing 👋🇨🇦
I’ve been thinking about making my own motorcycle hauler/camper with a pop out like this for this past year. I want to tow behind my SUV. Toy haulers, even the tiny ones, are so expensive. Thank you for this video! My pipe dream is now a real plan. I want to do this in a 7x12 cargo trailer.
Very nice couple and a great rig. Wow. And Cody really likes them, too. He has good taste.
Wow!! So smart with their solar, battery build!! Great job!!
Happy your from Canada so am I , B C here , love this guy that check s out different campers
So impressive that he built his own batteries! Very creative use of space! Where there is a will there is a way! Thank you all three! Inspiring!!
Canadian ingenuity! 👏🏾😃
Very innovative camper and design. You both seem totally in agreement with the way you travel. Enjoy your travels.😊
That has been my dream motorcycle. Although everyone told me, it was too big for me.
Interesting overall setup.
They did a great job. I really enjoy seeing the creativity of people to build out these trailers/vans etc. to meet their individual needs. Thanks Bob for bringing all these interesting and informative videos.
Thanks a great rig. They really put in a lot of work but we can see that it's just what they needed and wanted. Thanks Bob for bringing this to us.
WOW! Awesome build! Nice intelligent couple. Safe travels!
Wow. That was a fabulous design!
Wow! No rock (detail) unturned! Really cool!
WHAT A COOL BUILD, WISH I WAS YOUNGER AND ABLE TO BUILD SOMETHING LIKE THAT, BUT IM HAPPY IN MY 35YR OLD RV AND LIVING FULL TIME NOMADIC LIFE STYLE, THANKS BOB U ALWAYS KEEP US ENTERTAINED....
Good afternoon from Godley Texas, what an awesome couple and an amazing build 😎 Stay safe and happy travels 😎
thanks Bob for posting. see you in Quartzsite.
Great to see a couple of Alberta snowbirds escaping the cold weather. I lived in Ab for 31 yrs before moving back east in Ont. Loved out west but thinking about going back gives me shivers. I could comfortably live in a rig like yours. I think you did an awesome job. 👍💕
Thank you for sharing!
So nice that they can do their own work. Good ideas. Thank you for showing us your rig Mike and Jenny. Thanks for the interview Bob!
Oh my gosh what a set up! Very impressive. Thanks Bob!
Very Creative couple! Great job ❤️
Brilliant set up.
Well done you two 😎
Thanks for sharing and GREAT job guys!! Way to get the most out of your space👏👏.
Thanks Bob, nice home👍
WoW - I lived in Whitecourt 40 yrs ago :)
I love watching the home-builds. So well thought out.👍
Bravo job I think cargo trailers are the way to go ... I certainly enjoyed seeing yours and appreciate you sharing.
Super nice build so clean n cozy.great workmanship.
This is the way to go everyone I see on these videos are happy. I want to do this in future. I’ve got step 1 done bought a Truck once’s that’s paid off then I’m getting my RV
Excellent. Much better than I could build.
Great Couple!
Interesting rig and a very talented builder. Keep the good stuff coming Bob.
What an awesome, unique build!
Beautiful!
Wonderfully done!
This is awesome! Great work
very excellent and resourceful build!!!
Very sweet couple.
Great build!
this family is smart wish i had the brains and courage thanks guys
There are a lot of smart people in the rv lifestyle 👍
💚👏👍 Thanks Bob .. nice video
I wish i was half as smart as him and i wish my 7th wife loved me half as much as she loves him.
Interesting build. Very handy man!
You absolutely did a great job on your trailer. My only concern is the scissor bed. You are sleeping on top of all the electrical and batteries. That can't be good for your health. I turn off all power surrounding my bed at night (easy power strip), I have noticed no more anxiety, overall I feel better. It is something to think about. Safe travels.
I was looking at a 12’ cargo trailer out of a company in Colorado. I last minute found a StarCraft extreme off road off grid ready travel trailer. It’s been weatherized. StarCraft is made by Thor so I’m hoping the quality is there.
Nice setup!
Excellent
That's very smart!!
Very nice build. Kinda what I want to build to live in.
Very impressive,
From South Africa that type of side out is popular here. Sprite scout comes to mind, & others. Our "bush yrailers" also make use of it
What a great idea to put a pop out bed. The only downside would be if they stay in state/national parks in bear country. But since they have the sofa bed, they would be ok.
hi there. we can comfortably sleep in trailer without the pop out bed. we do if we stay at rest area or Walmart or bear country.
Super nice
🇨🇦 good job 🇨🇦
Was thinking of doing something like this on my chevy express.. just smaller width for sleeping across the back.
I was surprised to learn the F150 could haul the rig and moto!! Great build!
The F150 Ecoboost has a towing capacity of 14,000 Lb
very cosy
Nice
I would love to meet this couple ! I’m in Arizona rite now
we will be in Quartzsite for RTR.
Cool 😎
We use the buddy heater also because of no power needed and a miser on propane. The problem is the heat goes straight up. I saw a you tube video where a guy mounted one of the heat powered fans on top of the buddy heater with some wire. The fan we bought on amazon was CRSURE Wood Stove Fan, 8 Blades Double Motors Fireplace Fan, Dual Fan for Heater, Heat Powered Stove Top Fans for Gas/Pellet/Wood/Log Burner Stove, Non Electric. We paid 90 dollars it is on sale now for 68 dollars. It now circulates heat like your furnace would without additional power.
yes we use fan to help dissipate heat. so far we are happy with it.
Wow, how ingenious! What a wonderful couple. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the whole thing cost you? Thank you and God bless!
I'm working remotely, but want to do a bus conversion, and do it myself, my problem is a place to do it at. I pay park rent, or will In a few weeks when I leave my room rent, have 2 small dogs, so as soon as I can find a working place , I will be set.
I. Have a bed like that
👍🏼
Does any one know where I can find a new pop out bed kit to install myself? I have been looking for days and can’t seem to find a kit anywhere. Super sweet CTC, you guys Rock!
🤙
Nice set up. Obviously you are good at DIY. Jenny- i love your sweater. Did you knit it?
hi Carrie and thanks. yes I knit the cardigan. it's a Marie Greene pattern Fiadh cardigan.
link the scissor bed please. I love the det up.
Very impressive build!!!
I'm curious to know the manufacturer of the super-cool jack-knife couch.
It's called a scissor couch and I have seen some on Amazon for $1,500. Not shure of the brand name on mine.
WOW! Is there anything that guy CAN'T do?
dishes lol... but no dishwasher in trailer so he has no choice lol
How I wonder how they got that hybrid installed on to that trailer.
Very nice rig, but i have a question, do they have to step outside to set it up to be able to use the bed?
No. There is a hole in the wall.
In South Africa the design is such that it's deployed and reset from inside.. the floor lifts to become the sidewall
hi Janice yes we have to open the bed bu outside. not hard to do and pretty quick.
Using a couple of electric bikes on the road for energy storage when not being used on the bikes possible?
What would have been nice is to show the trailer packed up and ready to go, or almost ready without the motorcycle in the trailer.
Is that a bird hovering over the roof panels ? I cannot figure out if it’s something live or a trick of the eye. Super nice trailer. I’d love to build one, but have learned that my municipality wont permit me to do the build in my driveway. I REALLY want to move, but my job currently holds me in place … for now.
Haha, it's our neighbours flying toy at top his flag pole. good catch
It looked like the Goldwing was centered right over the axle when it was in the trailer. Did he happen to mention what his tongue weight was with and without the Goldwing?
850 Lb with motorcycle and some water and ready to go camping STUFF
Would you be able to Get the plans to the electrical system , how to make the battery and the Pie set up please ^_^
Alot of good ideas nice work guys👍🏻
just curious is it dangerous sleeping over all the batteries / electric ?
Very clever! Would not use the extension in bear country!!!!
hi Roberta we can comfortably sleep in trailer without opening bed.
He says my this my that. She says his best his that. Is none of it hers? I thought they were married?
Married 42 years . she helps me a lot and that is my fault I always forget to mention what she does. Genie does all the interior decoration. with the exception of the 3 posters of our past camping trips.
You can't get to the bathroom with that bike in there.
yes we can that was part of planning. we needed access to pretty much everything so we didn't have to take the bike out. it's worked pretty well so far.
