Thanks for watching!
Dude should be a radio broadcaster with that terrific voice!
Love his rig.
YESSSSSSS LOVE IT ! 👍✌👌
or audio books.
He should be encouraged to do audio /video podcast, he would succeed.
Exactly what I was thinking!!!
I agree.
His voice is so calming. I want him to tell me bedtime stories around a campfire pls
Leroy's got a real radio voice. Smooth.
My dream build is a shuttle. Using the seat frames for a Murphy bed is genius! It's obvious that Leroy put a lot of thought into his build. Tha js for sharing!
Ditto 😂 I've been struggling with how to fit the wheelchair, lift and a bed and this is perfect! I'm gonna use a sheet of plywood to make fold away seats, or maybe a vanity or desk, that can be used when the bed's put away too.
Thanks Beth, I missed that part, that is genius , I will need to watch this a few more times as I also plan on a shutttlebus conversion , Fantastic Build LeRoy ✌️ Marta
That guy has a perfect voice for radio/ audio books/ podcast/ voice acting… he really should look into it.
I'm still considering this lifestyle and continue to watch various videos. I really found this informative. Does anyone else find his voice soothing 😌
Sure would have liked to see the shower assembled.
Me too
All those years with my head down. . . In deed.
Live edge is very cool. I'd enjoy sitting down and chatting with this guy in person. Such a great way to live. I'm 59 and just about ready to do what he is experiencing now.
This gentleman needs to do voice overs! He can make some extra cash on the road... Nice set up.
I really like Leroy's approach to do things. Fire box that 'sips' wood. Repurposing seat frames. Solar generator instead of DIY electrical. Trailer hitch. Berkey. Limited need for hot water.... This is the type of bus I can relate to...
Very nice rig and artistic features. Well thought out design. Must be great to live in - just the fuel running costs that might keep the travelling down a bit. I think Leroy could make some money doing voice over work, too! 👍🏻
He has a wonderful voice!
Thumps up for the voice over!
I like how he really made it his own. It has his personality in it and he truly has made it a home.
Never thought of a Murphy Bed for a van build, but it makes perfect sense.
Oooooh I wish he had let us see the shower setup. The description of it sounds amazing! I can see that he would have some privacy.
I’m 62 and can retire in a little over a year. I’ve worked since I was 14. I want to build out a cargo trailer so I can stay in it and tow my motorcycle when I’m not motocamping from my motorcycle. I can’t wait to travel. I love to ride. I’m so excited.
🌼Safe Travels!🙂
@@tandiparent1906 thank you! I’m retiring in 18 days!
Bob, maybe the greatest accomplishment is introcing the nomad lifestyle 4 so many people. No more is alternative living in America , whatever the reason they found their life's freedom.. beautiful ❤️. Thank you
I wish I could go there and eat lobster. I love lobster 🦞
This fella should make a CZcams channel and film his adventures. Seems like a really down to earth, cool guy. The kinda guy ya wanna have a beer with. Excellent video.
What a great build!
He's much smarter than he will admit to.
I wish him well :)
A shuttle bus is perfect for full time living. I am impressed with the Murphy bed and his clever ideas.
Getting ready to take the plunge. I think alone time with my fur kids can heal a lot of soul wounds. Mostly I neeeeed nature!!! People think traveling alone is scary, I think it's absolutely freeing.
I’m a full Time Quartzsite resident! Papa and I Moved from Oregon 2 year’s ago! Absolutely love it here!
I drive a shuttle bus for work and my boss has a 2016 E450 wheelchair bus he is wanting to sell and willing to sell it to me. I can't wait to convert it.
Who else wanted to see his Harley and it's garage?
Very cool build. Great idea using drop down seat frames on the bed but that shower is over the top with dedicated space taken up outside, brilliant. 2 thumbs up
Just when you think you've seen it all. This is very unique, and I think it's beautiful. Well done LeRoy.
Peace... Shalom... Salam.. Namaste..Thank You for All your efforts... 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ 🌷 ☮️ ❤️
Cool "Rig" you have there.,......luckily for me, my Marathon Class C, has been a strong motorhome these past years. I'm a firm believer that if you treat your vehicles with care & respect they will provide unlimited service to you for years to come.
What make of motor home do you have?

LOVE IT!!!!! Nice man too
I average 10-11mpg @ less than 65mph.
A humble man with great wisdom. Phenomenal tour
What a awesome build! I love the little Berkey stand. I also love how he repurposed those cabinets and used the stainless steel tops for a back splash. His swivel table top with the live edge is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. 😀❤👍🏻
I'm like everyone else, i could listen to him talk all day. You can tell he put a lot of thought into this build. Great job. You found a true gem Bob, in thd person and his rig. Thanks for all you do.
I had already decided to go with a shuttle bus and this is exactly what I had in mind right down to the wood stove and cargo trailer behind. I'm fact I talked about it on my last video. That's such a coincidence!
Awesome Uncle LeRoy!!! Looks great!
she , I'm starting to get hooked on watching these types of video's ,, how to live in a van or whatever ,,
What a nice guy, he's done everything I would want to do to a bus, except I would probably build in the bed. It's beautiful!
I love his rig, I just don’t know how anyone can afford to be out there with these gas prices. We are at just over $5 per gal and we hear how bad other places are getting. I especially love his shower set up.
My friend only travels every 2 weeks to a new location. She goes to the store and does her shopping before reaching the new campsite. Then she stays put for those 2 weeks. She says it is costing her a little more, but not enough that she's having to cut back on other things. She just doesn't go as far between each destination.
Thank you for that knowledge.
Really nice man and he has a nice home. I wish you happiness in all you find to do in this life. 🌹🌹🌹
Nice set-up Leroy. Appreciate the need for a solid unit. Laughed when you said you'd broken a few RV's.
Sir you have a beautiful soul. Your voice is calm and smooth. You build is original. Clever spanner handles. Love all the wood fittings. You even have a shower. Shuttle bus is such a good size.
You are so right about doing it while you can. I had never traveling until I took a driving job, I fell in love with the road! So many beautiful things to see without ever leaving the US.
This guy put some real thought into this build. Power, fridge, murphy bed and all. Cody stole the show again ! Safe travels Sir.
yes a work of art... maybe placed in the Nomad's Historical Museum in the future
Thanks for the tour Bob and Leroy! Great rig Leroy. Safe and happy travels!
Wow that deep bass voice.
Leroy needs to get in contact with someone at Audible about narrating some audiobooks. Or start a youtube channel from his phone doing unintentional asmr type stuff.
It's so cozy!!!!! So much to like about this shuttle bus build!
Great build!! I'm currently building an '05 E350 named "ROSEY", and have tossed the floor plan around so many times, bath and shower have had me struggling, "thinking outside the box" (bus),,, has given me a flood of ideas for a bathroom, wish you were able to open it up, but I think I got the idea, can't wait to share a fantastic design for solar panel mounting. Build is behind schedule but due to finish in September,,, ish,, Thanks Bob for having such simply, honest and interesting people and topics that never disappoint,, hope to see y'all soon!
As a moto girl myself, I am loving his story. This is literally my dream for retirement. Ride and live small.
Nice! Great job! It's good to stow away the bed and open space. There's nothing as warm as a wood stove to keep the chill away. The shower is very creative. You can shower privately without getting your feet muddy and your legs splashed. You were successful in creating a cabin feel with the artistic detail and wamth of the wood. Enjoyed your video. Happy trails.
Wonder about the head clearance in that rig. No one ever talks about that in these conversions much. Being 6-5" and 330 lbs, and OLD.....kinda limits me. But I do love this guy's work-!!
6'5 is more than tight. The ceiling is 6'3"
That would be my dream break with all that power but that definitely is the perfect man cave rig ✌👍👏💖💪🎅🚌🌻
Shuttle busses can be amazing. The fiberglass ones dont rust or dent easily, are quieter than a canned ham, naturally insulate better because the skin is a poor conductor of heat, wont' rot if you insulate, and are far more rodent resistant. This was a good video to demonstrate possibilities, thank you.
This man almost has the same background as me,I had a Body Shop, self employed, retired on SS only, sold my house, I can relate. My shuttle even has the twin xl murphy bed, same water heater, same rubber floors. I wish I could still ride Harleys but my back won't allow it. Thanks for the video Bob I enjoyed this one!😁
Bob you have got to get out of my head! 😆 Fourth or 5th time in a row you've read my mind and done exactly the video I needed!
Beautiful build. Love the wood. And Leroy has a great voice.
Another great video, big luv from the Uk 🇬🇧😊😊🇬🇧
Love that his brother Andy helped. Really is a nice home 🏡
This man is living the life I would love to have for myself. Maybe one day....
The Bob Ross of nomads.
What an awesome shuttle bus build. I wish we could have seen his shower set up!!
I could TOTALLY live in that 😎❤️
This man is very talented in his build. I have a Shuttle Bus myself and I love it.
I was thinking the cabin feel even before he said that's what he did on purpose. Good job!
This was a great build. Thank you for sharing
A great guy that has made a nice home for himself. I'm surprised he doesn't have a dog traveling with him. Thanks Bob
This guy is incredible!!! The Murphy bed is awesome👍🏼
That just wow! I wouldn't change a thing! I've always wanted the shuttle bus.
I love all of the unique details, like the water filter stand and the wrench handles. Such nice touches to personalize the bus!
Love your rig! That wood desk is beautiful!
That gentleman should look into a second career reading books for audio book companies. He has such a nice, calm, voice. Very nice build!
Very Nice Shuttle Bus. I Like the natural wood like in a cabin.
Its always great when you can build things and have friends to help create beautiful things for you build.
What a creative build!!! I love the 'overkill' too... ha ha
Leroy- I appreciated your explanations and your humility. Really love it. You seem like a really nice guy. Good luck to you!
Great video Bob. The gentleman has a very nice set setup. Thanks for sharing!
Your guest should be an inspiration himself due to following his dream to travel at his pace in his own way. Wishing him good luck on all of hos adventures
Wow! So many creative solutions in this build. And, Leroy seems like someone I'd like to meet some day.
My favorite build yet. Great job Leroy!!
I been watching the older guys builds to pick there brains and it has really helped me keep things simple and with my level of comforts. I could be happy with.
I based my builds off these ideas and learned most importantly never underestimate your desire for comfort. I don’t wana live out of my vehicle 🚗 I want to thrive out of it … I found it was more important to have a nice bed and a seating area over a huge counter and kitchen area.. but that’s just what I needed most. You will definitely want to make modifications to your build.. So just build it and change it later.. get out there!
What a wonderful build and I love his wrench door handles!! I really loved this one!!!
Cheers
From South Africa... damn nice one of the best you've showcased.. really nice, non fancy, just real... And a nice fella.... RGDS Warren
you can't over kill on Your Generator. Awesome Design and style. Love it
Some very clever ideas in this build. I really would have liked to see the shower set up.
I need a perch like that for my Berkey!! In the van I bungeed it put.
That man has a voice for radio!!!
Really interesting! I bought a Forrester and selling my car and van to hopefully buy a shuttle. My friend Dirk has a shuttle bus with a cargo trailer for his motorcycle and DJ equipment. I had to share this with him!
Bought a bus last Saturday. I'd love to be able to do the bed conversion with the two seats I have. I'd love to know more about it.
That is a great setup! Most impressive is that he can stand up with his hat on! I'm getting ready to retire in a year or so and I'm thinking of hitting the road.... IF gas goes down. I'd be interested to know what kind of MPG he gets.
Average 11mpg
Gas will never "go down". Brace yourself for high inflation in the next 5 years.
I love the design! Especially that Murphy bed using the pre-existing flip up seats
Lots of good ideas done Nice. ⭐
What a neat, functional build!
I have the same dream for the same reason. I've raised my kids, helped with the grandkids, and haven't
Be blest. ☦️Great build‼️♥️👩🏻🦳Have fun!
Thanks for creating and sharing. Another great video. Great ideas. Leroy, your build nails it, hits all the buttons in my personal perspective. Congratulations. Happy trails, all. 🙏🏼🐾🎶
Love his shuttle bus and his voice! He should be a podcaster or radio announcer. I’d tune in just to hear him speak. I also think the live edge Berkey stand and table are gorgeous. I would put L brackets around the toilet just in case. That would be a serious gross mess if it toppled over. And, on that note … Happy trails, everyone.
Shuttle my dream thanks BOB u help more people than u will ever know Godspeed
I’m not an envious person but this is perfect. I could only wish I had his skills.

Thanks, this turned out real homey. Had no idea new rvs are so fragile
Leroy love your voice strong and soothing hope we see more of u,
This man should do a podcast with that radio golden voice
