Gran Canaria Cycling: Steep descent to Barranquillo Andrés. Part 2. 4K

Here we continue the secondary route to the village of Barranquillo Andrés. Superb views and hairpins all along the way. Just to add some challenge to the journey, the road is not maintained by the local authorities and is in poor condition in places. I had to stop twice and rest my hands on the way down as they were becoming painful from the constant application of the brakes. (Mind you, it would help if I were a bit lighter!).
As an aside, this was my first time cycling in Gran Canaria (I normally go to either Fuerteventura or Lanzarote) and it was great to see mature trees abound like in this video. Obviously, it's not as windy as the other two. I was in Lanzarote in February and the wind was just horrendous; not just difficult but seriously scary as well.
