I was about to comment this! The AU that every medicine cat has a mothwing in detication to Mothflight is beautiful. Maybe Hawkfrost used Mothwing's to fake the sign that she was ment to be a medicine cat?

I love the detail of the moth wing! It’s the one from Mothflights dreams that lead her to be the first medicine cat! Amazing work
I also love this detail, but it also makes me think of how Mothwing was accepted as an apprentice to Mudfur. What if that story was passed down. How significant of an omen that was to Mudfur.

i was thinking that Medicine Cats deserve 9 lives just as much as leaders do, with all the work, effort and pain they have to deal with
Oh stars no, imagine having to live nine lifetimes knowing you'll never be able to save your Clanmates? Leaders will at least lose them quickly to battles and wars with predators or other Clan cats, but medicine cats don't fight. That's nine lives to simply live until they're too old and die in their sleep nine times over; that just sounds like hell.
Oh, StarClan, no. Medics are unlikely to die a “hero” 9 times over, though - They’d likely just die in their sleep. That sounds like a curse.
0:16 The bit with Gorsepaw smiling at Barkface as Tigerclaw attacks him is such AN INCREDIBLE moment. His little smile that says something like “…It’s fine…I’m gonna be okay”, while Barkface is forced to watch and know he won’t be 🥺😭 So haunting. So much emotion conveyed in so little movement. Whoever animated that little bit, BRAVO! 👏 Your ability to capture such subtle yet intense nuance is IMPRESSIVE.

Wow I love the song and it’s a MEDICINE CAT map! Almost all the medicine cats have a moth/butterfly wing behind there ear! Amazing.
Med cats are so underappreciated! It takes a lot to go down this noble path knowing you'll loose a lot along the way. I love this map so much I cant put it into words. Great job everyone!
Something no one's talking about is how Mothwing is the only Medicine cat in the thumbail not to bow, which can be representated as her begin the only one not beliving in starclan's will

I absolutely love this map. I also love that it conveys the struggle medicine cats might go through when losing a cat after using up so much energy towards their recovery. The animation is gorgeous and every animator did an outstanding job!

This is beautiful! I adore every single part. It shows the struggle of being a Medicine Cat perfectly. Especially when someone they love dies and they, unfortunately, can't do anything about it. This MAP hit me in the feels
The colours, the expressions, the designs, the moth that every Medicine Cat has, symbolising Moth Flight, the first Medicine Cat. I absolutely love this MAP

absolutely obsessed with the fact this ends on mothflight, i didn't make the connection with them all having a mothwing to show there med cat status until the very end and that just makes the map hit so much harder. beautiful, everyone did an amazing job this map turned out so very well

The concept for this is amazing! Something I never knew I needed, I always admired medicine cats but this really highlights how difficult it must actually! Especially when you’re the last line of defence for your loved ones.. Great work everyone!!❤
WOW THIS TURNED OUT SO GORGEOUSLY!! I absolutely adore the finished result and all of the work that each animator put into it! This MAP is part of what got me into How to Save a Life, and now it's one of my favorite songs. I remember when the MAP was first posted--- it honestly seems like forever ago, but it was 100% worth the wait.

I remember seeing something about this map like a year ago or so and seeing some animated parts. I was excited but I didn't knew how long something like this can actually take so I forgot about it. I still love the final and it brings many memories to me to see the animations again. Great work to everyone.
