Driveway And Patio Pressure Washing And Soft Washed In Cambridge.
Here I am on another patio and block paved driveway pressure washing and soft washing job in Cambridge. The new owners of this property got me in to restore both areas. As you can see, the before and after shots show how how much these areas had been neglected, and allowed to deteriorate. Quite a contrast from start to finish. Hope you enjoy!

I agree about the pond. The new owners should have that cleaned for the health of the fish.
As much as it grates on our neat and tidy sensibilities, lichen is an indicator of an unpolluted environment and even though the fish pond looks unattractive It's a perfect habitat for fish as it gives them lots of cover. Being easy to see with nowhere to hide is not an ideal situation for fish. Lot of opportunity for fishing herons and the like.
I don't hear the fish complaining about the state of yall houses
Talk about gritty and grimey. That was downright scarey looking.
Possible that the previous owner could not afford the luxury of maintenance. I've observed firsthand. Taxes as high as rent leaves little left, so choices are made. And crews don't usually work for free. In any event, good work here. As long as the new owners can afford, I'm sure it will remain perfect.
Definitely possible but thatâs a big house, not usually owned by someone with money issue. a lot of time sas we age we just donât take care of things the way we used to. He did a wonderful job for sure!

The only maintenance portion was adding more sand to the pavers $10, the rest was general cleaning. The previous owners were lazy and didnât care. Good Job!

Beautiful job! Many homeowners have no concept that simple maintenance would prevent some of what you corrected. They believe that what they see as something they have to just live with.
And many people can't understand that one day you too will be unable to do what you used to. I broke my back and am now terminally ill. I can't maintain a garden like I did for decades. My husband needs a new hip and his ankle can't be repaired, even with surgery.
Bodies break in unfixable ways. When that happens you just cannot do what you used to do. You're incapable.
So you do what they did. You sell your home and get a place you can maintain. And it hurts. It hurts to leave behind the pride you had in your hard work. It hurts to no longer have the strength to work with Mother Nature. But it's a part of life that we'll all have to face eventually.
Or they don't have the money to fix it.
Previous owners could have been elderly. Had other priorities. Life gets in the way.
Yes there are reasons people can't but there is also a massive amount of people that won't, even though they can. I have neighbors like that. Then complain about the price when they get an estimate from someone to do it.

I think the whole problem is that everything needs to be removed and redone. The pavers are too low in comparison to the lawn, there is an obvious problem of drainage so when it rains the soil just comes up, there is no landscaping fabric or sand or rocks underneath the pavers and there is no filler in between the pavers' surface. It is a remedy for the history to repeat itself. It was a lot of work and you did a very beautiful job !

Wow! That is the most detailed power wash I have ever seen. And you even used a floor machine. I was a painter for 35 years and I power washed everything but you are a master! incredible job!!!

The stone work was beautiful to begin with but you brought it back to the way it looked when the craftsman layed it probably over 100 years ago. You restored the icing to the cake. Good to know that the fish were ok. đŻđŻđŻ

The pathing is poorly laid...no provision for drainage and the whole lot is laid too flat. 12 months and it will be black again.

Wow!! That has to be the most impressive video using a pressure washer.. I really like the idea of the sand and will purchase a bag to do the same, I ordered a pressure washer just 2 hours ago. Great job! I pressure-washed my small patio yesterday for first time in three years. Pointing is shot, and am left with the lichen spots... but it looks better than it did! Maybe I'll get you to come to Herts one day.
Hi Jean, many thanks. Bit too far out for me i'm afraid. You can treat the spots your self with a watering can or soft brush using 15% sodium hypochlorite diluted down 3-1.
Just make sure you wear protective clothing, like gloves goggles etc if you decide to go down that route. đ

Big fan here and my OCD is super satisfied watching your vids and damn I love it. There is one thing I have noticed that is missing from your vids... You don't advise us how to maintain or look after our properties at least on a minimal level. How can we improve our property maintenance? There is a strong focus for you to teach others who would like to be in your profession but not so much the property owners who would like to maintain their own properties. Again, love the vids and want to learn more from you as an owner not a customer.

Nice thorough work! Still the color of the wet plates is really odd, they look somewhat muddy. They may seem different when dry but I can't imagine seeing that after every rain đ
