1:15 I don't know what happened there, but it sounds very cool.
Banger middle section, also anyone watching this should listen to Hmelnitsky playing Godowsky’s “Gardens of Buitenzorg” from the Java Suite- another of the best recordings of anything ever
Truly.
much better than what I thought. very impressive
Very nice, this work is great!
amazing inner melodic accent and i hear his rubato interpretation sometimes like pogorelich on 2005
Wow! A new pianist. I wonder if anyone else knows about him?
(This is the performance with video, correct?)
correct indeed
How do you find all these amazing recordings?
Me, obviously (actually, not sure who introduced who. Momrad please assist.)
Yes, I also saw your video with Hmelnitsky in it. I just wonder how did you stumble upon him? It's easy to find great recordings of the famous pianists, eg. Cortot, Schnabel etc., but there's really little content regarding Hmelnitsky on the web.
@@RachManJohn it was vice versa, and with this particular recording in fact
@@MomradCarko_39_05 ah, fair enough. Thanks, Wide Godowsky.
They should arpeggiate the chords by playing the bottom 2 then the top 2 like on violin.
Maybe you should go message the pianist then
