    That was an awesomely informative video for us rookies. Many thanks for taking the time to do it. I really how you broke down the impact of changing the travel positions and its effects on handling etc.
    I've got a 2022 Frontier on order and based on this video, I'm more than likely going to pop a set of Alldogs springs in it pretty quick after I receive it.
    Cheers~

    This was very informative! I have a bit of an odd situation, maybe. I put a Leer mid-rise cap on my 2018 Frontier Pro-4X so it's now level. Now if put any load in the back, or on the hitch, it goings sag. I want to lift it for off-roading - nothing radical, but just a bit more than the stock Pro-4X can handle. Do you have any non-leveling kits that will get the rake back?

    2017 SV 4x4. I will be towing a off-road camper. With more ball hitch weight then normal. Front has a 40lb. bull bar. Don’t mind a rake unloaded. Just want level to small rake loaded. So would the 2” medium springs for front and heavy leaf pack for rear be my best option? ( tongue weight range 350 to 400lbs.) Thanks

    • @AlldogsOffroadCoop
      @AlldogsOffroadCoop  Před 3 lety

      Hey Glenn! For that setup we'd recommend our medium coil springs up front and our Medium Broverland packs in the rear. The broverlands will handle that weight like a champ!

    • @MeliorIlle
      @MeliorIlle Před 3 lety

      springs with an aal pack or just do a PRG basic mini lift kit with spacers and blocks if you aren't planning to do serious offroading (which with a SV model you obviously aren't). Also, way to be impatient and not wait for the 2021 lol. You should have at least gotten a 19 with the bulletproof engine.

    • @AlldogsOffroadCoop
      @AlldogsOffroadCoop  Před 2 lety +1

      yep, you can use springs with no issues like coil bucket contact. you aren't changing the physical length of the coilover with a spring. the added length caused by a spacer is what causes CBC

  • @dyip32

    • @Off_RoadXterra
      @Off_RoadXterra Před rokem

      he said to not adjust the 5100 to the highest lift setting and then add the ADO spring. The 5100 need to be set at the lowest setting.

    How does the spring not over extend the shock by adding 2”

    • @AlldogsOffroadCoop
      @AlldogsOffroadCoop  Před 4 lety

      By nature of preload or spring lifts, your shock compresses less under the weight of the vehicle, but 2" - 2.5" is just fine (depending on the vehicle). If you go higher, ride quality will suffer

      @AlldogsOffroadCoop  Před 3 lety +1
